Electrical Engineer = Person who monitors all the electrical engineering design activities and schedules and budgets; also, reviews the general electrical equipment specifications; also, ensures that all design, drawings and specifications of the engineering contractor meet quality and safety standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Electrical Technician = Person responsible for the installation, testing, connecting and maintenance of the electrical system within the rig/facility/construction. The Electrical Technician works with the various electrical systems, equipment and machines in the rig/facility or project or construction.
Electronic Technician = person responsible for the repair and general maintenance of
all the electrical equipment. See Electrical Technician.
Electronic Technician – Seismic = person responsible for repair, maintenance and evaluation of the electrical equipment within the scope of the seismic equipment.
Environmental Engineer = Person having to plan prevention, control or remediation strategies for possible health hazards or environmental problems in/on the particular site (such as waste control, pollution or site remediation.) This includes identifying waste and pollution sources, consulting on corrective strategy, and ensuring that environmental laws and requirements are adhered to.
Estimator = Person who has the responsibility of calculating all the tenders and ensuring that there will be a suitable return in regards to the resources that have been employed.
Evaluation Engineer = Person who assists in the development of the test procedures, configuration and instrumentations necessary to perform analytical tests within test plans.
Expeditor = Person who assists in the day-to-day activities of the purchasing department, ensuring that all procedures are adhered to and filing systems are maintained.
Expert Witness = Person who has expert and more complete knowledge within their given field through education, training, skill and experience. An Expert Witness is relied upon to officially and legally provide technical or scientific etc. opinion on specific matters. They are often called upon in a court of law.
Explorationist = Person who is responsible for delivering all the technical assessments on a site and identify development opportunities; also, liaises closely with service companies and contractors, universities or research organizations.
