Gas Processing Engineer – see Process Engineer

Gas Transportation Engineer = Person responsible for the analyses, planning and coordination of the infrastructure and processes required in gas transportation. Continued below

Gas Turbine Engineer = Person involved with the selection, design and operation of gas turbines, ensuring mechanical and performance issues are dealt with adequately.

Gas Turbine Technician = Person who has the responsibility of evaluating and allocating gas data correctly; also, to provide administrative and technical support to contracts and/or third party customers.

Geologist = person who uses the seismic data to reconstruct the subsurface configuration to locate possible sites of oil traps; also, once oil if found, calculates the percentage of oil that could possibly be extracted from the reservoir.

Geophysical Engineer = Also known as the Geological Engineer. Person who applies engineering principles to geological study; ie. focuses on well-site development, exploration and operation aspects, as well as environmental issues.

Geophysicist = person who interprets the seismic data and build up the picture of the subsurface by using the knowledge of the past changes in the earth's structure.

Geotechnical Engineer = Person who provides support in the most convenient location for the project team; also, ensures the quality of work is up to standard; also, liaises with project management teams to clarify certain aspects of the project and the agreed time frames.
