Oceanographer = Person who undertakes scientific studies of the ocean's topography, biology and inhabitants. Oceanography is also called Oceanology or Marine Science.

Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) = person in charge of the overall operation of the activities offshore (rig); also known as the PIC (Person In Charge) or MIC (Man In Charge).
Offshore Logistic Coordinator = Person who ensures that all resources, infrastructure and management systems are correctly in place for all offshore needs.
Offshore Maintenance Foreman = person responsible for supervising the maintenance
Offshore Maintenance Roustabout = person responsible for keeping the deck area clean; also includes general upkeep of the rig and painting.
Offshore Medic = Person who is medically trained; this includes doctors, nurses, paramedics or any medical personnel who work in an offshore environment.
Offshore Painter = person responsible for the offshore rig painting, working at heights.
Offshore Personnel Specialist = Person responsible for personnel development plans to improve personnel skills and/or personnel numbers for all offshore needs.
Offshore Process / FPSO Personnel = Person responsible for the FPSO (Floating Production and System Offloader) personnel processes and development planning.
Offshore Project Manager = Person who has the responsibility of the execution and planning of the overall offshore projects.

Offshore Surveyor = person planning and executing surveys; also, identifies needed assistance; also, follows up overdue surveys
Oilfield Operations Engineer = Person who has the responsibility for the engineering, analyzing, planning and improving the oilfield operations.
Operation - Maintenance Manager = Person who plans, directs and organizes the maintenance operations; also, provides much support to the administrative staff and managers.
Operations Engineer - Offshore = Person who provides support and direction to the offshore production operations to ensure that production targets are met; also, coordinates offshore activities that relate to HydroCarbon Processing, utility systems and water injection systems; to ensure they are all carried out effectively, safely and environmentally safe.
Operations Engineer – Oil & Gas = Person who is responsible for the overall operations focusing on a technical perspective.
