QA Engineer = Person who provides support to the delivery teams and operational managers on all the matters of Operations Quality Management.
QA/QC Inspector = Person who reviews the structural and/or Civil aspects of the engineering and develops detailed knowledge of the scope of work, aims, timetable and systems required for the project; also, ensures that all contract specifications for inspections are carried out correctly. QA/QC Manager = Person responsible for implementing the Quality Construction programs on site and implements a Quality Plan for the site and it's activities; also, ensures each sub-contractor implements adequate quality systems and procedures.
QA/QC Supervisor = Person who supervises all the QA/QC operations (Quality and Construction) and staff involved relating to this area.
Quality Assurance Engineer = See QA Engineer
Quality Control Engineer = Person responsible for planning and executing better quality control initiatives.
Quantity Surveyor = Person responsible for contract aspects of surveying and ensuring that value recovery is maximized; also, is responsible for cost control, cash management and the subcontracting of material orders.
Quarry Manager = person responsible for ensuring that quarries, pits and opencast sites operate successfully by overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office; also, manages staff, co-ordinates production and monitors all site systems.
