CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I have been involved with project development and product design for projects ranging from within the Arctic Circle on Alaska's North Slope to the coastal waters of Trinidad. My engineering designs were implemented on energy source vessels capable of producing reliable results anywhere on the planet. This has given me constant experience in dealing with international clients and trying to organize individuals from all corners of the globe. Being able to provide accurate cost estimates involving international projects proves to be a formidable task that requires accuracy and excellent communication with all parties involved. I have been very fortunate to have had these opportunities and the situations I have been faced with have taught me priceless lessons.
Identifying and solving problems in the worst of environments is the best way to describe my last position with PGS Onshore. I like to know my work has meaning at the end of the day and my company counts on it to be functional and efficient. I believe, along with my education and my past experience, I would be a great asset to any company. I look forward to talking with you soon.
Michael Haise

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Petroleum Geo-Services 15150 Memorial Dr Houston, TX 77079
Field Engineer/Project Development
3/2008 – 7/16/2009

Engineering and Geological Services

Design and development for international projects.

Was a member of a core team to develop a successful global transition zone department to operate in any condition and any environment around the world. I discovered a new way to test for premature failures in cable telemetry on source cables and am currently working to patent the methods and technical equipment designed to do so. These methods have proved valuable in locating problems before they are put into production; therefore improving the efficiency of the entire project. I have always established long professional relationships with marine vendors that have proved valuable in tight and demanding situations. Written proposals and built recording mechanisms for maintaining budgets on global projects. I have worked close with engineers and support teams from around the world. The ability to work in a diverse multicultural setting has set a new standard for professional candor. Communication is crucial to any project that is going to produce. I am a firm believer that maintaining a level of honesty and integrity builds a character for the entire project. It is seen by everyone involved and assists in building the general moral that is the foundation between clients and crews.
I immerse myself in all aspects of a project so that I can have thorough knowledge of the mechanics that make it work. I am competent in the assembly and operation of the sercel

recording equipment along with the "Gator" navigation systems used in 2D and 3D seismic operations. I have an in depth understanding of marine seismic acquisition and all the mechanics involved for a successful operation. Through my experiences I have learned that innovation and a “hands on” approach is the best way to eliminate redundancy which in return cuts cost and increases profits while allowing me to be HSE conscience. Was heavily involved with the design and construction of a source vessel to be used in shallow water off the coast of Trinidad and will prove to be a reliable energy source for many future seismic acquisition projects. Many of the design calculations in the construction of the accumulators and manifolds that control the high pressure air guns are my own. This has made me very familiar with ship yards and large vessel construction. Every project or task that I was faced with had to perform flawlessly in any part of the world. That itself presented problems that I would have normally not been faced with. Form and function took on a whole new meaning and in today's rough economy efficiency plays a lead role in every project.

Engineering and Geophysical Services

Working as a trouble shooter contracted by P.G.S, I had to locate telemetry problems with acquisition cables and work with a team of 5 people to calculate the variances in cross talk and document the environmental conditions they were subject too. Working on the North Slope of Alaska in Prudhoe Bay was an experience in itself. Performed Sea trials in Freeport, TX on newly designed cable boats that were to be used in the acquisition project in Alaska. Prior to the Alaska project I worked with coastal wetlands designing and building erosion control structures in the marshes of south Louisiana. Performed studies on Marsh Island to monitor the varying changes in salinity content within the interior of the island.
