Pre-Desulphurization : It consists de-aeration, hydrogenation and stripper, Sulphur
content in the Naphtha is reduced to a Level of 10 PPM.
Final Desulphurisation : Removal of Sulphur compounds from Naphtha and Natural
Gas to less than 0.1 ppm sulphur.

Adiabatic Pre-Reformer : Having catalyst RKNGR contains magnesia (MgO) operating
at 510 deg. It reforms higher hydrocatbons into lower
hydrocarbons. It is second successful catalyst in India.

Primary Steam Reforming : Reforming of Natural Gas with steam. Reformer consists of
190 tubes with 360 side fired burners with balanced draught
furnace, designed by Snamprogretti, Italy.

Secondary Reforming : Further reforming of Natural Gas and addition of process air
For Nitrogen for the Ammonia Synthesis.

Shift conversion : Converstion of CO to CO2 in HT and LT Shift Converters
By catalytic reaction.

Acid Gas Removal System : Removal of CO2 from process gas by GIAMMARCO
VETROCOKE PROCESS (Italy) in which absorption of
CO2 with G.V. Soultion and Subsequent regeneration of
solution in HP and LP is involved.

Methatnator : Residual CO and CO2 from the Synthesis Gas get converted
Into CH4 in presence of Nickel based Catalyst.

Compressors : 3Nos of Centrifugal compressors are being used in our
Ammonia Plant .

Extraction cum condensing type turbine (18MW, 108KSC,
5100 C to drive centrifugal Synthesis Gas Compressor
Supplied by BHEL, Hyderabad.

Injection cum condensing type turbine9.6MW, 39KSC,
3700 C to drive Centrifugal Process Air Compressor
supplied by MANGHH, Germany.

Condensing type turbine (6.5MW, 39KSC, 3700C) to drive
Centrifugal Ammonia Refrigeration Compressor supplied by
MANGHH, Germany.

Ammonia Synthesis : Radial flow S200& S300 convertor for Ammonia Synthesis with Two Paralell Catalyst beds with an inter bed heat exchanger and cold shot.

Cryogenic Section : PLC based Absorbers and Cryogenic unit for hydrogen
recovery from loop purge gas supplied by LINDE,

Condensate Recovery : High pressure process condensate stripper (35ksc) pressure
BFW pumps, capacity 114m3/hr and 150 KSC, two waste heat steam boilers of total Capacity 240 T/hr and Steam
super heater fumace operating at 105 KSC and 510 deg.

Reciprocating type compressor: Double acting horizontal balance opposite crosshead type-
reciprocating compressor for Compressing recycle gas
supplied by Khosla-Crepelle.
Naphtha Storage : Floating roof atmospheric pressure storage tanks, with all
safety equipments.
Raw Naphtha 2 No.s-Capacity : 3450KL
Sweet Naphtha 1No.-Capacity: 7050KL

Pumps : Multistage Centrifugal Boiler Feed water pumps driven by
turbine supplied by WORTHINGTON, Italy,

d) Chemical cleaning and passivation of Boiler Feed water system and boilers and steam lines.
e) Dryout of Refractories of furnaces and reactors
f) Sagregation,Washing and loading of packing/rascing rings into various absorption/stripper column
g) Pre-commissioning of machinery, test run of pumps and compressors and Stroke check of control valves
h) Catalyst loading of fixed bed reactors and fludised bed reactors
i) Catalyst Reduction/Activation of Ammonia Convertor, Primary Reformer, HT & LT shift converters and methanator etc.
j) Over speed trip for compressors checking.
k) Loading and Unloading of catalyst
l) Warm up Steam lines and Cooling of cold lines
m) Passivation of SS lines and storage tanks
