Managed 30 major small independent accounts (XTO,PXP, Delta Petroleum, Berry Petroleum, Anschutz, Ansbro, GMT, Grymberg Petroleum, Antero Resources, Pioneer Natural Gas, etc) across Western US & the Rockies Basin for Fracturing, Cementing and Coiled Tubing Services.
Developed business in the Rockies for new clients by increasing revenue from 6MM in 2007 to 28MM in 2008.
Involved with the entire bidding process from RFP to implementation of captured work.
Successfully led an effort to fend off new low-cost competitors and prevented them from entering the Rockies market by innovating a high-efficiency/low-cost pricing approach.
Uncovered and pursued unconventional business opportunities.
Devised and implemented new business strategies to differentiate the commoditized Rockies market and increase profitability.
2004 2006 DESC Engineer (Fracturing services) Bakersfield, CA
In-house Schlumberger Engineer for Chevron and Oxy .Responsible for the design, execution and evaluation of fracturing jobs in Lost Hills and Elk Hills.
Introduced AbrasiFRAC technique with Chevron in Lost Hills, CA. First jobs pumped for SLB in World. Technique proved 20% increased production on wells, and is still in place today.
Introduced Hi-Perm Viscoelastic surfactant to Elk Hills for low cost solution to high leak-off problem. First time product was pumped successfully in the US.
Worked side by side with Completion Engineers, attended production meetings, helped to achieve AFE goals, and solved well and formation related issues.
Trained & mentored an engineer for his GFE Project.
2003 - 2004 Cell Leader Longview, TX
Managed logistics, scheduling, technical and operational coordination for fracturing jobs for one crew composed of twenty operators, two engineers and two supervisors generating monthly revenues of $6.5M.
Responsible for $20M worth of equipment and assets and CAPEX requests.
Involved with P&L responsibilities by controlling inventory and tracking pumping revenue.
Mentored and trained four new engineers and two new supervisors.
Initiated a project which demonstrated the difference of Acid Fracturing Jobs vs. Propped Fracturing jobs in limestone formations by using a new Acid product. This led to the development of new job designs, revenue increase for the midcontinent and well productivity enhancement.
Recognized by Schlumbergers technical community for technical achievements and contributions which translated into an additional grade promotion.
