1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Please find enclosed my CV, which I am sending to you with a view to inquiring if you hold any vacancies, which may be suitable for my skills. I feel my experience currently working as a Service Engineer with MI Swaco offshore, working in remote and unsociable conditions, coupled with unsociable hours and physical fitness which we had to have working in the vicious environment whilst I was a fisherman in the North Sea would stand me in good stead. I believe that I can bring good attributes to any job role that I am asked to do along with the fact I work well on my own initiative as well as part of a team.
At the moment I am working in Azerbaijan for MiSwaco as a dayshift supervisor offshore in the Caspian, my general duties include operating and servicing various equipment associated with the job of waste management and solids control.
I can show a flexible approach to any task and would be willing to work in any capacity were I can deploy my talents to the best affect. I have an up-to-date RGIT certificate valid until
15th March 2013 and my Offshore Medical is valid until 17th March 2011.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking time to consider my application and I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you at any point in the future.
