SR QA/QC INSPECTOR
• Preparing the method statements & Inspection test plans as per project specifications (DGS)
• Preparing and qualifying welding procedure qualification (PQR) test as per welding procedure specification (WPS)
• Organize and conduct welder’s qualification test as per ASME Section IX and client specifications
• Monitor jaket & core piping fit up & welding fabrication.
• Carry out Hydrostatic test, Flushing and Reinstatement for jaket & core piping.
• Check final dimension, material traceability, orientation and cleanliness after completion of jaket & core pipe spool fabrication.

(460 Million$ EPCC project connecting 2 (Ruwais, Abu Dhabi) refineries and 3 terminals with pipline/piping/equipments/14Nos of API650 storage tanks works with 730 km pipelines)
Duration : December 2004 till July 2008

SR QA/QC INSPECTOR
• Preparing the method statements & Inspection test plans as per project specifications (DGS)
• Preparing and qualifying welding procedure qualification (PQR) test as per welding procedure specification (WPS)
• Organize and conduct welder’s qualification test as per ASME Section IX and client specifications
• Inspection of electrodes, filler wires and gas used for welding
• Control welding consumables and documents
• Visual Inspection of pipe fit up and weld joints and reject/accept as per acceptance criteria of ASME B 31.3
• Visual Inspection of structural members fit up and weld joints as per acceptance criteria of AWS D 1.1
• Monitor preheating prior commencement of welding and interpass temperatures during the welding
• Monitor performance of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promote corrective action where necessary

• Coordinate for Non Destructive examination of welds(RT/UT/MT/PT), pressure tests in accordance with approved procedures and QC plans
• • Coordinate for Post weld heat treatment of welds, monitor the heating rate, soaking time and cooling rate during heat treatment
• Coordination with Client/Engineering/Sub-contractor to solve technical problems, Preparation of Technical Query, Design Deviation request, Close out of NCR, Site Observation etc.

Inspection activities Includes Witnessing of Welding Procedure Qualification, welder qualification test Conducted as per ASME Sec IX, Inspection of Fit up & Weld visual As Per ASME 31.1, Interpretation of NDT includes DPT, MPT, RT & UT and Heat treatment includes Pre Heating, PWHT As Per ASME B31.1, Apart from this alignment of Structural Column, Stack, HP, LP, IP Drums, Pumps and HRSG casing, Expansion joint & Insulation inspection related to HRSG.

Material Used for Piping is SA106 Gr-B, Gr-C, SA335-P11, and P22, P91,SA312-TP304, 316L & for Structural IS2062 Steel is used. SMAW & GTAW Welding Process is used for Piping & GMAW (CO2) Welding Process is used for Structural Fabrication.

Conversant with the welding of various materials such as stainless steel (304, 316L, 317L 321), Copper Nickel, Alloy Steel (1 ¼ Cr ½ Mo, 5 Cr ½Mo, 2 ¼ Cr 1 Mo) materials etc.
