JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Involved inspection of Mechanical Equipments works such as preparation of Installation, Location, Elevation and Leveling, coupling alignments and Alignment of Mating Flange (Off set Clearance )
 Permit receiver by berth for construction of pipelines and equipment erection like loading arms, loading hoses, slop drums etc for product export through ships.
 Developing and finalizing the project system and final documentation as per client requirement.
 QC line check and punch clearing activities.
 Preparation and Inspection of chemical cleaning and Reinforcement pad leak test, hydraulic/pneumatic test, subsequent draining, cleaning, steam/air/nitrogen blowing, water flushing ,Flange Alignment and Valve Cleaning
 Organizing a meeting and giving a day to day task to supervisors & foremen as per project requirement and supervise them on field as required.
 Solving the technical query raised by sub contractor as per the best practice and project specification.
 Inspecting fit-up of joints for material surface, root gap and bevel angle as per established WPS
and Visual Inspection of finished welds.
 Ensuring that all welding activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and standard.
 Preparation of daily welding report, weekly report, welder’s performance report etc.
 Field check for monitoring correct parameters like welding current, voltage, pre-heat, inter-pass temperature are in the limits of approved WPS.
 Check Storage of filler materials, equipment to be used, weld joint preparation,
 Examining and inspection of Raw materials, surveying site, site dimension and site drawings.
 Execute the QA/QC program exercising professional judgment within the framework of broad guidelines Quality Control Manual and Inspection and Test Plan
 Preparation of documents for pre and post inspection activities with consideration to relevant drawing.
 Involved in Visual Inspection of Equipments (Storage tanks, boilers and Heat Exchanger, etc...)
 Knowledge in application of codes and standards of API-510, API-570, API-650, API-653, API-1104, & ASME B16.5, B16.20, B31.1, B31.3 and AWS.
 Coordinate with construction, testing group, and QC department in the preparation of pressure test.
 Witness welders and welding operator qualification test scrutinize WPS, PQR, and WQT.The examination includes material identification, welding consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, heat treatment, welding variables, parameter and techniques,
 Select best NDE method for final appearances of finish welds, PWHT, and hardness test. Check and review it.
