I am applying for Senior Training and Development positions in Human Resources/Organizational development. I have solid progressive international experience in training leadership roles, collaborating with associates at all levels to earn their trust and confidence in building organizational capability and capacity to ensure that employees are benefiting from development opportunities, and contributing to the company bottom line.

I am well versed at establishing and managing the training function to develop all staff, managerial, professional, technical and no-technical. I Partner with HR and business unit leaders in assessing skill/capability development requirements, and defining appropriate training programs/workshops. NISH is a non profit agency whose mission is to create job opportunities for people with severe disabilities through administering government (Army) contracts. Managed $5.4 million training program to develop NPA business capability/capacity to gain and maintain contracts:
• Provided leadership and direction to the training programs both face to face and distance education.
• As an internal consultant developed strategic plans, assisted identifying new learning strategies and business plans at both enterprise and specific curriculum levels by applying human performance technology to bring about changes to a system.
• Supervised a training team of eight staff, providing staff development, and career pathing and conducting performance appraisals.
• Planned and organized upwards of 115 classes in 38 locations with over 50 topics employing 20 internal and 30 External Trainers. Budget development and control with a focus on ROI, effectiveness, and cost savings meeting planned training within 10% of budget forecasts.

Cypress Semiconductor manufactures integrated circuits. Assist establish the corporate university for training and OD initiatives and projects. Internally consult on management development, leadership, sales and technical programs for 5,000 employees’ worldwide;
• Served as the performance consultant to country managers, assessed OD needs, customized and facilitated effective leadership development and coaching for managers.
• Developed and delivered classroom and online sales training, coaching, mentoring, leadership and MBTI workshops for Asia, Europe, UK & USA sales managers, sales staff and teams.
• Managed organizational development project specifically designed with country managers using competencies to develop a comprehensive program of staff development training.

BANGKA ISLAND OUTDOORS (BIO) – Sungaliat Bangka, Indonesia (May 96 - Nov 97)
TRAINING DIRECTOR (Consultant to BIO). Contract assignment to establish a training center for PT Timah, managed 8 direct reports and led 50 employees to establish leadership and OD program for Indonesian managers employing experiential learning. Developed and maintained professional relationships with a variety of in-country and off shore secondary/ tertiary educational providers and institutions. Developed Strategic Business Plan for BIO - annual operating budget of US$3.5M.

PRIORITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS – Australia, Indonesia and Singapore (May 93 - May 96)
TRAINING & SALES MANAGER - Priority Management is a worldwide training organization providing tools, techniques and training solutions to enhance individual and organizational productivity, coached managers and staff in sales and training skills across multiple ASEAN locations.

PT KALTIM PRIMA COAL – Sangatta, Kalimantan, Indonesia (Dec 90 - May 93)
TRAINING SUPERINTENDENT - PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) Sangatta East Kalimantan, a large export coal mine.
