I as the name stated above, is highly interested to work in this growing company for a position as a marine engineer. As a company that keeps expanding across the changing and challenging world nowadays, it surely being driven by a talented and dedicated team that I really want to be part of.

2. Currently I am holding a Higher National Diploma In Marine Engineering from Malaysia Maritime Academy and also a Certificate of Competency Class 4 (motor and steam) issued by Malaysia Marine Department. I’m currently undertaking my 2nd Class Certificate of Competency (pending Oral Examination)

3. At the moment I am working as a Marine engineer for MISC Bhd LNG carriers. My job scope is basically in charge on maintenance of Cryogenic Cargo and related machineries ie; Nitrogen Compressor, LD Compressor, HD Compressor, IGG (Inert Gas Generator) and assisting in loading and discharging of LNG cargoes, understudy the 2nd Engineer in plant maintenance, machinery problem troubleshooting and management of junior engineers. In addition I’m also in charge of engineering watch monitoring the vessel steam plant, propulsion, electrical systems and auxiliary machinery, also In charge of designated machinery maintenance and overhaul according to Ships Planned Maintenance System for 3rd Engineer.

4. Besides that I have nearly 7 years experience working onboard LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) ship. My working field are mostly about commissioning, monitoring and maintaining ship plant operation i.e. steam plant consists of boiler, turbine and auxiliary machinery such as pumps, compressor and generator. Besides maintaining the smoothness operation of the steam plant, my job also including overhaul machineries i.e. motor, pump (gear ¢rifugal) and compressor.

Areas Of Accountability (Cargo Engineer LNG ships):
1. The safety of personnel working directly under his charge.
2. Assume specific responsibility for the maintenance and efficient operational condition of all cryogenic cargo machineries.
3. Maintenance, repair and good working condition of all electrical and instrumentation equipment in the Engine Room and Accommodation.
4. Maintenance and repair of any cargo and deck electrical equipment or instrumentation.
5. Member of ‘special duties team’ during emergency.
6. Stores and spare gear allocated to his charge by the 2nd Engineer
7. Technical supervision of the work force as required
8. Routine maintenance on all machinery and equipment delegated to him
9. Control and usage of spare parts for the machinery and equipment delegated to him
10. Maintain up to date inventory of all machinery spare parts
11. Anti pollution measures
12. Comply with principles and guidance for keeping safe and efficient engine room watch
13. Report any undesired events, unsafe practices or near misses observed to the superior officer/s and attempt to rectify them if safely possible.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Seven years of hands on experience in the field of Marine Engineering specializing in machinery maintenance, steam plant and turbo machinery monitoring and control with Drydocking Training at Kelang Port Drydock during cadetship. Familiar with Yamatake Honeywell and Yokogawa Distributed Control System implemented onboard the ship. Participated on ship’s drydocking for several LNG ships ie; S.S Tenaga 4 MHI Yokohama Drydock 2003, S.S Puteri Firus Satu MHI Nagasaki Drydock 2005, and S.S Puteri Nilam Satu MMHE Pasir Gudang Drydock 2006. S.S Puteri Nilam Satu MMHE Drydock 2008, S.S Puteri Firus Satu MMHE Drydock 2009.

Currently holding the position of Cargo Engineer. Fully in charge on maintenance of Cryogenic Cargo and related machineries ie; Nitrogen Compressor, LD Compressor, HD Compressor and assisting in loading and discharging of LNG cargoes.. Capable of handling vessels various auxiliary machinery and system such as Fresh Water Generator, Ships Electrical Machinery ( Turbo & Diesel Generator ), Ships Air & Gas Compressor, Nitrogen Generators, IGG Plant, Hydraulic winch and valve systems.

In general I am capable of operating, troubleshooting and doing machinery maintenance involving theory and hands on experience on most of the marine machinery available onboard the vessel.
