Presently, I am working with a Project Management Team in Dubai. When I was in Qatar, we had provided few engineering consultancy services to Qatar Petroleum, details of which are mentioned in my resume.

We have been using Primavera Contracts Manager, software for Electronic Document Managment System (EDMS) for this Project. In addition to this, I have also experience in using ACONEX, a web based documentation system.

Now I am looking for job in Document Control and can be joined at short notice and also willing to relocate. Please find attached brief details of some of the prestigious projects, in which I was involved in Dubai & Qatar.

Professional Experience


Working with Faithful +Gould (Project Management), Dubai (Atkins Group) for Jumeirah Lakes Towers Project. Major job profile consists of;

• EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) using Primavera Contracts Manager
• Registering all incoming and outgoing correspondences, MoM, Drawings & technical submittals into the Expedition for easy tracking.
• Responsible for Control/Track/Issue of complete project documentation such as incoming and outgoing correspondence, site instructions, change orders, ERI, RFI, CVI, Submittals and other forms of pertinent documents from the client and subcontractors.
• Set up document control filing system in by organizing, labeling, indexing.
• Archiving, updating contract package documents
• Co-ordination between Main Consultant & Contractor.
• Maintain Archive section up to date.
• Fulfill Client’s requirements of handing over
• Successful closeout and handover of documentation from Projects
• Proactively engage Lead or Team Lead Document Controllers on deviations from standards/procedures.
• Maintain Tender/Contract Documents.
• Coordinates the training for all new employees on the Documentation System.
• Audits documentation system periodically
• Monitoring and tracking of controlled documents from initiation to implementation.
• Convene meeting as & when necessary
• Maintain Variation Orders, Claims & QS reports log.
• Preparation of Monthly Reports for submitting to Client
• Daily backup (electronic copy) of project documents
• Follow-up with team members for “open” status items
• Maintain ISO standard for Project Documentation
• Update drawings in accordance with Drawing Register.

Worked for Arif & Bintoak (Consulting Architects, Structural & MEP Engineers), Dubai and involved in following major projects:

a) Wafi Hotel (Raffles) Project
b) Jumeriah Beach Residence (JBR-04)
c) Jumeriah Beach Hotel (JBR-H07)

• Control/Track/Issue of all submittals/documents (Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, RFIs, Material Submittals etc)
• Registering all incoming and outgoing correspondences, MoM, Drawings & technical submittals into the Expedition for easy tracking and future references.
• In charge of incoming and outgoing correspondence, site instructions, change orders, work instructions, Request for information (RFI) and other forms of pertinent documents from the client and subcontractors.
• Co-ordination between other sub-consultants & follow up with them for various submittals/drawings & other issues

• Implement and maintain a coordinated and consistent filing system;
• Electronic-transmission of document
• Data input to database related to document receiving & tracking, document
• Assist Site office administration
• Maintain archive section & contract documents up to date

• Arranging meeting/schedules with sub-consultants/contractor
• Logging/Distribution of documents to other consultants/concerned
