Project Description:
CPOC is join operating company between Petronas Carigali and PTTEPI – Thailand and under the jurisdiction of the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority. CPOC intend to explore and exploit the natural resources (in particular petroleum) in the Join Development Area.
There are four (4) phases of development program:
Phase I (to complete 2009) to build
1. Muda Process Platform (MDPP) : 6 Legs, 3 Main Deck Level, 60.3M water depth
2. Muda Living Quarter Platform (MDLQ) ) : 4 Legs, 3 Main Deck Level, 140 man of Living Quarter Building, Helideck, 61.2M water depth

Role: Lead Structure Engineer
Responsibilities :
Under E & P Department, my role are:
- Responsible for Structural Integrity on 5 wellhead platforms (MDA, MDB, MDC, MDD and JKA Platforms), 1 Living Quarter Platform, 1 Living Quarter Building, 3 interconnecting bridges, and Fabrication of MDPP Jacket
- Ensure to contractor that Company Supplied Steel Material (CFME) is applicable as much as possible in the design.
- Shortfall Identification on Company Supplied Steel Material (CFME).
- Supervise contractor during engineering and Fabrication activity.
- Response TQ (Technical Queries) raised by contractor during engineering, fabrication and installation.
- Review all contractors’ produced drawings and design report documents and ensure these documents are constructability and comply with International Code and Standard and CPOC Standard.
- Coordination with Drilling Dept on WHP (Wellhead Platforms) to ensure that platform complies with drilling requirement.
- Coordination with well service Dept on WHP to ensure platform complies for well service team on they are working after completion of drilling.
- Coordination with Transportation & Installation (T&I) Dept such as on barge size information, method of load-out, coordination on structural integrity during Sea Transportation using actual supplied barge, provide to T&I on Platform weight information (all WHP, MDLQ, 3 bridges, MDPP Jacket), riser location, and all installation issue.
- Review Installation contractors’ produced drawings and design report documents such as Sea Transportation Barge Analysis, On-Bottom Analysis, pile driveability, launching and up ending, etc and solve the problem related to the installation.
- Coordination with Logistic Dept such as Company Supplied Steel Material (CFME) identification on any discrepancy quantity and size between logistic packing list and engineering master list, relocation of CFME material usage from one contactor to other due to unused.
- Coordination with Yard Construction Team and assist them on all the construction issue.
- Comunication with a Certifying Authority or Independent Verification Body such BV and MWS (Marine Warranty Surveyor) for the design acceptance.
- Coordination with other package team on MDPP Topside Construction (C001) on interface issue such bridge information, MDPP Jacket drawings issued by C001.
- Budget monitoring through out conceptual and detail design, fabrication, load-out, testing and installation work in Civil/Structural Engineering for all field development projects.
- Reviewing/Controlling contractor Change Order Request.
- Participating in bidding qualification in technical review.


II. Sept 2003 – Dec 2006
PT. Saipem Indonesia (formerly PT.Sofresid Engineering)

ConocoPhillips – Indonesia
North Belut – Wellhead Platforms – EPSC

August 2006 – December 2006

Project Description:
ConocoPhillips Indonesia Inc. Ltd (COPI) is going to install two wellhead platform WHP C and WHP D as part of development in the North Belut field, located in Block B of the Indonesian sector of Natuna Sea. The Wellhead Platforms will be four-legged conventional jacket with through leg driven piles. The topsides will be an integrated deck with three deck levels and an overall plan dimension of 36 m by 47 m and 31.5 m by 43 m for WHP-C and WHP-D respectively. Deck leg spacing is 15 m by 20 m. There will be 30 well slots with 10 No 36” and 10 No 20” diameter conductors at 2.5 m x 3.5 m nominal spacing (10 single and 10 twin wells). The topsides will be designed to accommodate either Jack-Up or Tender Assisted Drilling (TAD) rig as well as equipment for production and a crane for material handling. The water depth of these two platforms is 96.9M below MSL.

Reliance Industries Limited – India
KGD6 Development Project – Riser Platforms – Bidding

April 2006 – August 2006

Project Description:
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) plan to develop Block KG-DWN-98/3 (typically refered to as Block KG-D6), which is located in the Krishna Godavari Basin Concession, Offshore East Coast India. As part of the development, it is envisaged that a Control & Riser Platform (CRP) is to be installed in about 100M water depth to provide the transition between the mid-water (600m-100m) pipelines from subsea system and the shallow water pipelines to the onshore terminal. The CRP is a jacket structure with topside to accommodate the control system and the various risers coming from onshore terminal and from DWPLEM along with 20 men LQ & Helideck.

Role: Structure Engineer
Responsibilities :
Performing Load out analysis, lifting analysis, and sea transportation analysis of the Deck.


BP - Indonesia
Tangguh Gas Production Facilities Project - EPC

February 2006 – April 2006

Project Description:
BP Berau Ltd. intends to develop Tangguh Field Offshore Northwest Papua has 16 slots wellhead platform (VR-A and VR-B). The Tangguh field is located in “bird head” area of Papua Island, Indonesia, approximately 3000km northeast of Jakarta. The Platform is 6 legs whith 48” diameter of pile. The structure is located in a water depth of 57 m below LAT. Deck Installation Weight = 1629.32 MT. Jacket Installation Weight = 1934.1 MT

Role: Structure Engineer
Responsibilities :
Performing the analysis of conductor installation by using SACS program
Performing Deck Node Design.

Sisinubi Field Development Project Phase 1 - Production Platform (EPC)

December 2004 – February 2006

Project Description:
Sisi and Nubi are two gas field located on the East of Kalimantan Indonesia around 25 km offshore from the Mahakam river delta. Total E & P Indonesie Company developing the facilities for the two gas field by installing Sisi Nubi Production Separation SNPS Platform with associated Offsite Facilities located in Tunu Field, Mahakam River Delta, Indonesia.
The SNPS platform is a production separation unmanned platform, 12 legged integrated topside with a 30 m spacing required by the cargo barge to be mated to its related 48” pre-driven piles in shallow water on the bank of Mahakam river with water depth of 6.0 m. The deck overall dimensions are 30.0 m between Row 1 and Row 2 in the North/South direction, and 75.0 m between Row A and Row F in the West/East direction.

Responsibilities :
Performing the sea transportation analysis for The Deck Module by using SACS program.
Performing the analysis of deck miscellaneous such connection design, dropped object, and equipment support.
Performing the analysis of Platform Foundation and Pile Protection.

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) – Thailand
Bongkot Field Development Proj Phase E- Wellhead Platform

April 2004 – December 2004

Project Description:
PTTEP was producing gas from Bongkot field and intends to enhance the gas production by installing 3 new Mini Wellhead Platforms, WP15, WP16, and WP17 which are to be ready for production by 2Q2006 and Basic Engineering Design is required before tendering.
Role: Structure Engineer
Responsibilities :
Performing the analysis of Inplace, and Lifting for three jackets of WP15, WP16, and WP17 by using SACS program.
Performing the analysis of Miscellaneous of the Jacket such Crown Connection, Wave Slam, and Vortex Shedding.
