I have years of experience working in the Oil industry and have spent 3 years on an International assignment working in Angola on a major Subsea project for ChevronTexaco. I have also spent many years working within the International Freight Industry so I do have experience of Land, Sea & Air shipments in various parts of the world. I believe I could be very useful to you with my experience working in a restricted part of the world such as Africa. I have managed a team in a Logstics Department where I was in charge of all incoming and outgoing shipments in Angola where I had to track and trace all shipments to send reports to clients daily. Offshore Storeperson/Material Co-ordinator
Working on an FLE(Field Life Expectancy) Project where I am tasked with Storeage of Materials during the upgrade of the Rig. Maintaining contact with Logistics on the beach to make sure equipment requested is sent and recieved in a timely manner whilst keeping a full inventory of all equipment and consumables on the Platform and Backload sent from the Rig.
Feb 06 – Sep 08 – Vetco Gray UK Ltd – Angola 28/28 Rotation
Working on a major Oil & Gas contract ensuring all equipment is customs cleared and delivered in country on schedule. Confirming quantity and quality of equipment is to the client’s satisfaction. Completing commercial invoices for in-country and offshore movements. Working with rig schedule to ensure equipment is built and ready to ship at client’s request. Close contact with Freight forwarder to customs clear shipments in a timely manner in order to meet customer deadlines. Updating inventory and inputting in a system visible to client to show progress. Responsible for obtaining and invoicing travel/husbandry cost’s for the projects personnel movements.

Co-ordinating the import/export of service equipment to numerous International destination’s to meet contractual obligations. Obtaining quotes for international shipments in order to keep shipping cost’s at a minimum. Liaising closely with Freight Forwarders to arrange shipments as well as track and trace for customer updates.

Co-ordinating the movement of Oil well Equipment from various air and sea ports to major oil clients in North Sea, South America, Angola, Equatorial Guinea and Norway. Daily contact with client's to discuss and carry out logistical requirements, building good working relationships. Liaising with third party vendors worldwide, expediting orders for client requirements. Supervision of logistics’ teams including warehouse personnel. Co-ordinating the despatch of client repair item's to the nominated vendors. Closely monitoring urgent shipments, ensuring deadlines are met.
