| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
I am a graduate student majoring in Petroleum Engineering at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, New Mexico, U.S.A and I expect to graduate in May 2010.
I have gathered during my graduate program at New Mexico Tech, a sound understanding of various areas of petroleum engineering such as formation evaluation(well logging and testing), Drilling Engineering(Including underbalanced air drilling and completions), Reservoir Engineering(ECLIPSE simulation software) and Production Engineering (Fekete RTA- Production decline analysis, Well Test etc.) with hands on experience with software’s such as ECLIPSE(Reservoir modeling), LESA(Log analysis), FEKETE(Well testing and decline analysis) etc.
I understand what it takes to work in a service company, and I consider myself to possess those qualities of self initiation, taking responsibilities and important decisions while working on site with a client.
I hold a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with 4 years experience in the chemical process/manufacturing and fabrication industry.
I’m certified in the Six Sigma methodology (with a green belt) and have led projects and also been a team member on several projects. With a degree in petroleum engineering and my previous work experience in the chemical industry, I would be keen on applying myself in areas related to production, reservoir or completions.
Please find details of my educational background and work experience in the resume attached. After my graduation in the USA, I am keen on working as a field engineer(preferably) or as a reservoir engineer.
