Please find attached my Curriculum Vitae for the positon of inspection engineer.

I am particularly interested in this position, which relates strongly to my three years of experience as Inspection Engineer Welding QC.

I am currently Sr. Welding Engineer of LARSEN & TOUBRO India, and I believe I meet all the essential criteria of the position. My work at LARSEN & TOUBRO has been rewarding and productive. However, I wish to expand my career further.

The position also has a definite correlation with my practical knowledge and experience.I feel that I am well qualified to make an effective and useful contribution.

July 2006 to present: M/s Larsen & Toubro Ltd. –Hazira Works, Surat.

Currently working with the above company as Engineer–Welding QC in QA-Welding Department for Offshore Projects (Compressor Modules, Building Modules, Decks, Jackets, Piles, Bridges, Skids), Pressure Vessels, Columns, involving Welding of Structural & Piping Works.


Duties & Responsibilities:

 Preparation of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) for Structural and Piping work as per code AWS D1.1 and ASME SEC IX respectively.
 Welders and welding operator’s qualification as per AWS D1.1 and ASME SEC IX Standards.
 On site Inspection of welding related activities (Fit up, Welding parameters, Weld Visual, Final dimensions after welding, consumable storage condition and baking records).
 Weld metal calculation, consumable planning & Consumable TC’s review.
 Planning of resources regarding welding, welding sequence, process, welder’s selection and coverage for critical jobs.
 Weekly repair analysis, welder performance & toolbox talk with welders.
 Consistent solving of site welding related issues with the BVIS/LRA/CEIL/DNV Representatives and the Clients.
 Heat Treatment graph review. (Stress Relieving & Normalizing)
 Implementation of New Welding processes and welding related development work.
 Implementation of Company Procedures, Project Specifications.
