Business Development. Presenting O&M to potential new clients.

Responsibilities: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the process facilities on the FPSO & Platform using a Yokogawa DCS, including a SSS for F&G and ESD control. Optimisation as per Client production instructions and well target projections. Interface between drilling operations (BD1 Platform) & production (BD1 & FPSO) during ongoing SIMOPS.
Routine, planned & unplanned maintenance for the process facilities. Routine well testing, including PVT sampling & PLT logging on wells as required.

Administrative: Task Supervisor of PTW (Permit to Work) relative to process operations. Custodian and administrator of the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) & MMS (Material Management System) – FIRST Engineering. Planning of routine and unplanned shutdowns of process facilities. Issuing of derogations, downgraded, RFM’s (Request for Modification), Management of Change, Near Miss, Claims and Incident Reports as and when required. Production Reports, instructions, personnel management, allocation and training.

Supervision of DCS Operator, & operators on both facilities. Supervising of well testing, routine work, pigging operations, sampling and laboratory analysis.
Administrative: Operating Authority of PTW (Permit to Work) relative to process operations. Control of works orders, morning reports and well test reports. Training of personnel on both facilities. LO/ LC Registers, LTI’s (Long term Isolations) and Inhibition Registers. Member of Backup Fire Team.

Administrative: Operability & Maintainability studies on all process equipment (Shipyard). Area Authority for Permit to Work System. Drafting of CBTA manuals & performing task of assessor.

Lead Production Technician & Nightshift Supv – Yetagun A&B Platforms, Myanmar (Burma)

Commissioning: Responsible for loop testing of SCADA, F&G and ESD systems. FAT’s (Factory Acceptance Tests) of compressors, pumps and cooling fans. Present during Phase 2 of project (2001/2)
Responsibilities: Safe and efficient operation of the high pressure wells, gas and condensate separation, gas dehydration & refrigeration, compression (Sulzer/Solar Mars 100, LP gas recovery & reinjection), exporting of gas and condensate, heaters, coolers, power generation (Solar Taurus) and utilities. Maintenance shutdowns, both planned and unplanned. Routine well testing.
Administrative: Permit to Work, works orders, maintaining of registers, long term isolations, personnel training & assessment. Daily reporting.

Commissioning: Present during the construction, commissioning and hook-up of the ORCA from a MODU (Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit) to a FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage & Offloading)

Includes F&G and ESD systems, utilities and chemical injection, water injection, oil export to FSO and to onboard storage facilities.
