Jan. 2009 – Present Shiptech America/ AM General South Bend, Indiana/Afghanistan
Position Held: Field Service Rep.
• Attended A.M. General’s training courses for field and DS/GS maintenance, operator and BDAR maintenance, and driver’s off-road training.
• Deployed to Afghanistan as a contracted A.M. General Field Service Representative and Technical Expert to assist in the Frag 6 & 7 installation contracts.
• Provided assistance to military and contractor personnel either by assisting in repairing vehicles or by providing training on maintenance and function of the military HMMWV (Humvee).
• Provided customer service by assisting senior officers with parts issues and junior personnel with proper operation and maintenance of an upgraded vehicle.
Nov. 2008 - Dec.2008 ITT GMASS 2 Camp Anaconda Balad, Iraq
Position Held: Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic
• Under the supervision of the Camp Manager, performed a wide range of duties to include, but not limited to, the repair of a variety of U.S. Military vehicles such as the LMTV, HEMTT, HMMWV, M915, and HETT to name a few.
• Duties also included preparing the proper paper work such as 2404, 2407, and 5988-E.
• Performed operations required in accordance with published ITT GMASS 2 policies, Performance of Work Statement and applicable Army Regulations and Policies such as the AR 750-1 and AR 750-8.
• Performed all duties while working and living in harsh and dangerous conditions in a war zone environment.

Positions Held: Housing Specialist, A/C Tech
• Under the supervision of the Housing Coordinator, performed a wide variety of duties related to all aspects of ITT furnished housing.
• Duties included matters related to maintenance of housing facilities and furnishings, inventory of property when employees arrived and departed, verified that rooms were cleaned and ready for new employees, in/out processing of contractor employees including pick-up / drop-off at airport and transport to or from appointments.
• Assisted with shared administrative duties associated with excel database input, scheduling, appointment notifications, and other housing related duties as required in accordance with published ITT housing policies, Performance of Work Statement and applicable Army Regulations and Policies while working and living in harsh and dangerous conditions in a war zone environment.
• Under the Supervision of the Manager of Engineering, supervised a team of up to four employees servicing and installing new A/C units in Military vehicles.
• Inventoried and ordered parts as needed as soon as possible to get the job done.
• As the team supervisor, ensured all employees under my command installed all equipment properly and in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Handled complaints, requests, and resolved all mistakes in the field.
• Had oversight responsibility of all A/C job orders coming in and out of shop.
• Responsible at any given time for all supervised personnel as well as my actions and judgments.

Position Held: Q/C - Assistant Manager
• Monitored and installed Add-On Armor on Military vehicles such as HMMWV’S, HETT’S, 5Ton’s, LMTV’S, and FMTV’S.
• Trained all employees on the updates to the HMMWV’s. As an Assistant Manager in large shop, I inspected all work installed for completeness and accuracy.
• These duties required computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
• Trained under AMC in Iraq for all new upgrades on the HMMWV, Frag 5, Fire Suppression, New door locking system, New Tag and many other upgrades.
• Learned to operate an 8ton Crane.
