In my first years of work, I had the experience working for an International bank for almost 4 years, Deutsche Bank AG Jakarta. I had learned about bank operational, financial matters and capital market industry. I worked closely with various peoples and institutions such as local and expat, auditor, brokerage, fund managers and regulators. I obtained great deal of knowledge as a Fund Administrator, because I was assigned to manage clients’ book keeping with total asset around IDR 300 billion in mutual fund.
In order to broaden my experience, I decided to move to a Software company. My assignment was to develop a system for mutual fund application, enhanced the function/features in Custody system and develops a new Transfer Agent system. All of those systems were used in Custodian Bank operational in Jakarta. I started as an Application Consultant then Senior Consultant. I had the change to learn more about ORACLE database, trouble shooting in database, installation, consultancy both in technical and business area, and manage my own project. I really enjoyed those challenges and that made me fired up.
Then I was stationed as a Customer Support Manager for more than 3 years. I had to face up with lots of issues which relates to technical and business matters. On the other hand, I had the experience to build my first team of Customer Support. The first year was very challenging because I had to develop a new Standard procedure for daily operation, and dealing with the new team member. It was complicated and interesting. Our team has lots of complement from most of the clients, and critics also.
After 9 years, dealing with technical IT issues, I decided to move back to business area. My director has put me as a Senior Business Development Executive. My role is interesting because I have the chance to meet and discuss the needs of our prospects, clients in business perspective. I conduct lots of presentation and market research.
