For your information, I have more than 8 years experience in Safety, Health and Environment Field both onshore and offshore.

Furthermore I am specialized in Oil and Gas related HSE.

I've been working in International as well as Local Projects. I did involve in offshore projects such as Hook Up and Commissioning, Diving, Topside Maintenance, Pre Commissioning and Shipyard/Shipping etc.On onshore projects, I've been involved in Refinery/Petroleum Plant construction and operation. Besides I've been in the position as HSE focal point in all the projects that I've been involved in.

Coordinate safety management of BP Shipcare Facilities and its overall operation
Role

The purpose of the HSE Coordinator is fourfold:

• To ensure a safe place of work is in place for BP employees and BP direct / agency contractors within the Labuan facility, onboard the vessels, during transit to and from the vessels and at subcontractors premises.

• To ensure that the HSE risks of the lay up activities are controlled consistent with the requirements detailed in the Labuan facility Management Plan.

• To provide HSE assurance through a mix of preventative and corrective measures e.g. Risk Assessment, Job Hazard Analysis, PTW, procedural controls, inspection, audit, incident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.

• To promote raised awareness to HSE matters through Facility Inductions, input to Safety Meetings, conducting training and transfer of best practice at the facility Toolbox Talks.

Responsibilities

• To act as the Primary Point of Contact within the site team for HSE.

• To advise and induct site team members on safe working practices, safe working areas and to maintain and supply personal protective equipment to site team members and visitors reporting to the BP site office.

• To implement agreed procedural, hardware and behavioural measures to ensure that the normal and emergency HSE risks associated with the maintenance and lay up of vessels are controlled to at least tolerable levels. To contribute to any risk assessments during these stages.

• To prepare the monthly HSE report for attachment to the Labuan Manager’s report to BPS.

• To carry out routine safety inspections against agreed procedures and practices. Particular focus to be aimed at identifying and correcting unsafe acts utilising Behavioural Based Safety Auditing techniques.

• To implement the requirements of the Labuan Quality Management System, Safety Management Plan and Emergency Response Procedures and to verify that the lay up activities are being performed in accordance with the plans
.
• To investigate incidents reported by site team members and work with the Labuan facility Manager in the investigation of any incidents. Major incidents to be investigated to root cause.

• To periodically audit the facilities procedures and practices, including all Permitry, in accordance with a master audit schedule.

• To promote continual improvement in HSE performance within the BP Shipping site office and team by introducing safety campaigns, promotions, posters, rewards etc.
