A. EXPERIENCE: In Mineral Industry for Production:

About 11 years Experience in Mining operations for production of various following mineral producing Companies in India.

Responsibility includes planning, execution of surface quarry operation & underground workings for maximum production of minerals, controlling cost and also to obtain various necessary permissions, approvals etc., for carrying out Mining operations:

i) Manganese Ore India Ltd., Nagpur, India (Govt. of India Undertaking)– From 12th June 1979 to 28th July 1982 for production of Manganese Ore from Surface & Underground mines.

ii) Bharat Aluminium Ltd., Korba, India (Govt. of India Undertaking) - From 30th July 1982 to 3rd August 1988 for production of Bauxite from Open pit Quarries.

iii) Century cement, Raipur, India – From 6th August 1988 to 8th October 1990 for production of Lime Stone from Open pit Quarries belonging to a Cement Plant of reputed Birla Group.


B. EXPERIENCE: In Explosive Industry for Marketing, Export and Blasting

Additional more than 16 years Experience in Marketing, Export and Offering Technical services of Explosives / Blasting with following Explosives and Prilled Ammonium Nitrate manufacturing Companies in India:

i) Atash Industries Ltd., Bombay, India – From 15th October 1990 to 10th June 1992 for marketing and Technical services of Prilled Ammonium Nitrate.

ii) Anil Chemicals Ltd., Aurangabad, India – From 15th June 1992 to 20th January 1994 for marketing and Technical services of Prilled Ammonium Nitrate, Heavy ANFO bulk explosives.

iii) VBC industries Ltd., Vishakapatnam, India – From 24th January 1994 to 31st December 1996 for marketing, Technical services and Export of Prilled Ammonium Nitrate produced in collaboration with M/s Norsk Hydro of Norway.

iv) Maharashtra Explosives Ltd., Nagpur, India – From 9th January 1997 to 19th November 1999 marketing and Technical services of Cartridge explosives and Site mixed bulk explosives.
v) Sua Explosives, Bangalore, India - From 21st November 1999 to 20th May 2000

vi) Solar group of explosive companies, Nagpur, India – From 22nd May 2000 to till date. Responsibility includes:

a) Over all In charge of Marketing & Offering Tech. services to Coal and non-coal sector in all over India.

b) Obtaining necessary approvals and permissions for usages of Explosives for blasting purposes.

c) Attending to the complaints and giving training, lectures to the officials of various user Companies regarding technique of efficient use of explosives & design of blasting pattern, new developments in explosives & blasting etc.

d) Presented number of Technical papers in various journals and reputed seminars on Explosives & Blasting technique in India. Notable among them are: 1st Asian Mining Congress organized by MGMI, held on January 2006 at Calcutta (India); Golden Jubilee Seminar - ‘Present status of Mining and future Prospects’, organized by MEAI (6th to 8th April 2007) at Hyderabad (India); 2nd Asian Mining Congress organized by MGMI, held on January 2008 at Kolkata (India)

e) Customers handled are M/s Coal India Ltd., M/s Singareni Coal Co. Ltd., M/s TISCO, M/s Steel authority India Ltd., M/s ACC Cements, M/s L&T, M/s British Oxygen Corp. etc.
f) Engaged in Export of Explosives, Detonators to various countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Malaysia, Indonesia, Srilanka, etc.
g) Visited many African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana etc., for export related job and also for offering Training, Technical Services.


PRESENT ASSIGNMENTS:

A) For last more than 6˝ years, working as Manager Marketing & Tech. Services in Solar group of Explosives companies, leader in Explosives & accessory in India. It has become the largest manufacturer and supplier of Large and Small Dia. Cartridge Explosives, Permitted explosives, Bulk Emulsion Explosives, all kinds of Detonators and Non-Elec. Detonating systems for controlled blasting in India. With seven various type of Explosive plants having annual turn over more than Rs.250 cr (about USD 50 Million). Overall in charge for Domestic (Institutional & Trade sector) and Export Marketing.

B) Based in HQ at Nagpur (India) and reporting to Director of the Company. Successfully leading Marketing team.

C) Responsible for over all Marketing activities, Technical services of the existing products and to launch & establish new products in the market by successfully and effectively introducing it to the customers and to retain the customers by offering Technical Services, maintaining good rapport and relations etc.

D) Also obtaining statutory approvals, permissions from statutory bodies & Laboratories and Organizing Training & Lectures for the officials of user Companies regarding efficient use of Explosives, safety and various improved blasting techniques.

E) This group is relatively younger in explosives manufacturing in India, but in short span of about 7 years it has become the largest Manufacturer and supplier of all ranges of Explosives, Detonators.

F) The Company also Export their Explosives, Detonating Fuse, Detonators & Nonel Detonating System successfully to various South East Asian, Middle East and African countries since last couple of years.

G) Visited various African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana etc., for export marketing purpose and also for offering Training, seminars, Technical Services to the down line officials / supervisors.

A) Bachelor of Technology (Hons.) in Mining Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, West Bengal, India, in the year 1979 with 62.7 %.

B) Diploma in Export Management from Indian Institute of Export Management, Bangalore, India, in the year 1994.

Computer Knowledge: DBMS concepts, RDBMS with Oracle 7.1, Object Oriented Design, C, C++, MS Words, MS Excel, Power Point etc.
