I am currently a serving member of the Royal Australian Navy as a communications and information systems sailor. I have had over 6 years experience in the Defence Force and am looking for a change of pace and a challenge.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
As a communicator in the Royal Australian Navy, i am responsible for all aspects of communication on and off navy vessels and shore establishments. This involves the use of all frequency ranges ( HF, UHF and VHF) as well as sattlelite communications. I have experience in both data and voice radio transmissions on both covered and plain circuits. As part of my ongoing training and as a requirement of the RAN I have recieved training and qualification in GMDSS operation. The nature of my role as a communicator involved primarily shift work and watch keeping, as well as long periods away from home.

YR 12 HSC in MATHS B and C, chemistry, physics, biology and english. courses provided by the navy include
damage control ( fire fighting and toxic hazard training ) Senior First Aid, cisco network assistant, workplace assessor, GMDSS quals, Typing and software skills. damage control incident plotting, OH&S, fraud and ethics training, equity and diversity training. All these courses are civilian accredited.
