1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I wish to express my interest within your organisation for the role of an Offshore Radio Operator.
As is evident I have prior background experience working on various rigs on the North West Shelf of Western Australia being responsible for up to date Persons On Board lists, daily typing of the drilling report, constant communication with the shore bases and support vessels and dealing with all helicopter flight arrivals and departures ensuring radio watch is maintained until aircraft are beyond the point of no return.
I have strong communication skills and being able to work under pressure.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Having worked on both jack-up and semi submersible rigs in Australian Waters for various oil & gas companies as a radio operator and been exposed to harsh conditions in the Timor Sea and North West Shelf both whilst drilling and under tow to site.
I have also worked on the North Rankin "A" Gas Platform for Woodside Petroleum as a Janitor and kitchen hand, both on a 2 week on/off cycle.
3. Education & Training - CV/Resume Part 3 [Mandatory]
I am currently undertaking an on-line course for SAP wherein I hope to gain further knowledge of the program that will enable me to broaden my skills and work experience with oil & gas companies in logistics. Have completed my Restricted Radio Operators Licence to work on rigs in Australian Waters, previously undertaken the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (H.U.E.T) for Woodside which has expired but would be prepared to do relative training for this.
4. Computer Skills - CV/Resume Part 4 [Mandatory]
Very strong skills in Microsoft excel where I have had to build budgets, flight manifests, time sheets, leave rosters

Excellent radio procedure knowledge from my initial training in the Royal Australian Navy
