I would like to offer my resume for your consideration for the position of Instrumentation Technician.
My last position was working at Nexen Canada INC on the Long lake project. Where I completed commissioning and startup, and and then did running maintenance. Before that I was at Syncrude Canada LTD. Where I worked on the successful completion of construction and startup of the worlds largest fluid coker. During which time I was part of the R.F.O. (ready for operations) team. Which was responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction as well as commissioning and start up of several units in the UE-1 project. I was a temporary team leader taking over multi trade team organization when needed. I most recently was Electrical and Instrumentation coordinator on a coker shutdown. I am a journeyman Instrumentation Technician with inter provincial certification, having completed the 4 year apprenticeship program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and am a second year electrician.
I am interested in a position where I can continue to explore the depths of this field. I work well in a team environment, and am capable of working independently. I have been responsible for training other technicians.
I am often responsible for the supervision of multiple trades at one time, and am able to organize and maintain a schedule within a safe and efficient manor. Attached you will find my resume with further details of my work experience and education history.
