I am a Professional Document Controller with 15 years of experience of in maintenance, updating, filing and control of EPC Project Site, Export Documentation, Customer Care, Material Management, Engineering, vendor and general documentation work.

I am Seeking position as Sr. Document Controller in an EPC company in India / Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia or Canada.

My Areas of Competencies are as follows:

Downloading project documents and drawings from EDMS, Lotus Notes Data Base, Citrix Server and Doc Store
Distributing documents / drawings for comment, approval and as built construction as per the distribution matrix.
Updating project information using application software like Lotus Notes, PDB and VDB Doc Base and WEB DMS
Maintaining in house deliverable status, client document status and updating the central filing system.
Preparing and circulating internal transmittals for IDC documents / drawings.
Generating external transmittals for all technical documents / drawings distributes to client
Prepare weekly and monthly Saudization Provision Reports.

Initial Document Control Set Up.
Updating supplier document database.
Receiving subcontractor/ supplier documents and forwarding to / receiving the same from client.
Receiving Isometric drawings, General Arrangement drawings etc. from client and updating design drawing data base and doing internal distribution according to approved distribution matrix.
Preparing external & internal transmittals.
expedite the review and approval of documentation
registration and routing of documentation
maintain document distribution matrices for deliverables
process documentation in electronic format as well as hard copy
respond to queries regarding revision status of issued drawings/documents from engineering and drafting personnel
manage the electrical and hard copy filing of project related technical documentation

Preparing and submitting various reports to the client.
Maintain client data in the Central Filing System.
maintain an efficient project-related document control register; supervise and record document flow to and from all necessary parties, including clients, sub-contractors;
issue transmittals and receipts concerning the documents in circulation
Co-ordinating with the QA/QC Manager for arranging the internal audits.
Doing trial internal audits before actual internal audit.
Arranging weekly progress review meetings with the client M/s. Saudi Aramco.
