As skilled and experienced naval architect at the beginning of his most productive professional age I should to be interesting to potential employers. Willing and capable to move internationally and to work in any social environment, used to work as part of big teams, as well as to lead a small team.

MAIN PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• Initial ship design.
• Detailed design of ship hull and general steel structures.
• Strength calculations using FEA.
• Extended knowledge in workshop practice and technology of building steel, wooden and GRP vessels.
• Offshore ships design.
• Pleasure crafts design.
• Development of 3D-models and NC programs for torch cutting, water-jet cutting and 3-axis milling.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

• July 2007 – September 2009
IMT Marine Consultants Ltd., Montrose & York, United Kingdom

I was employed as Senior Naval Architect in company specialized in design of offshore support vessels, being part of Offshore Design Group with Dutch company “Worldwise Marine B.V.”
I was engaged in structural classification design (rule-based and FEM calculations, classification drawings) in several projects:
- 5000t lifting capacity crane-ship (design managed by “Ulstein-Sea of Solutions”, vessel purchased by DYVI, Norway, building in process at Sembawang Shipyard, Singapore, under DNV class).
- 95t bollard pull platform supply / stand-by / tanker assistance vessel (design purchased by Craig Group, Aberdeen, building in process at Astilleros Balenciaga, Spain, under LRS class).
- 18500dwt fall pipe rock dump vessel (design managed by “Ulstein-Sea of Solutions”, purchased by “Tideway”, Netherlands, building in process at Sembawang Shipyard, Singapore, under LRS class).
- 20000dwt submersible heavy module carrier (design managed by “Sea of Solutions”, purchased by “Rolldock”, Belgium; ship designed under LRS class, but building is postponed).
- 60t bollard pull AHTS (design purchased by SWIRE Pacific Offshore, Singapore, building started at Qingdao Qianjin Shipyard, China, under ABS class).


• July 2006 – June 2007
Free-lancer Naval Architect in Belgrade, Serbia

As a free lancer I was engaged in:
- Project coordinator on classification design of coastal passenger catamaran for day cruises (GRP hull, 150 passengers, design purchased by Montemarine Yachting, Montenegro).
- Project coordinator on classification and workshop design of 300tdw river tank-barges for diesel oil or jet fuel (Design purchased by Izola Shipyard, Slovenia).
- Ships theory calculations, FEA strength calculations and development of structural classification documentation for modification of river bucket dredger (600 m3/h) into gravel reloading plant (600t/h).


• September 2005 – June 2006:
Masstrans Pte. Ltd., Singapore, Singapore

I was employed as Senior Design Engineer in small company doing consulting and engineering job in heavy lifting and maritime transport, as well as marine design jobs.
I was engaged in:
- Development of detailed structural classification documentation for building of series of 120t bollard pull AHTS (Design managed by IMT, UK, purchased by SWIRE Pacific Offshore, Singapore, and built by Labroy Shipyard, Indonesia, under ABS class),
- Different strength calculations using FEA (offshore vessels, some sea fastenings for maritime transports and modification of jack-up rig topside under ABS MODU rules).


• July 2002 – August 2005:
Infinity Craft Ltd., Belgrade, Yugoslavia

I was employed as Principal Naval Architect in small company producing pleasure crafts. I was engaged in design and building of three prototypes of open cockpit motor boats, developed for serial production. Boats were all-mahogany or GRP built, 9-11 meters in length, powered by one or two diesel engines 230-360 kW and achieved 30-33 knots speed. I was also project coordinator on design of 32-meter river motor yacht, purchased for President of Sudan, built in Izola Shipyard, Slovenia, and commissioned in April 2006.


• October 2001 – June 2002:
Technical Institute of Yugoslav Army

I was employed as Research & Development Engineer.


• January 1998 – September 2001:
Belgrade Shipyard Ltd., Belgrade, Yugoslavia

I was employed as Structural Design Engineer in Design & Technology Bureau of shipyard. Since August 1999, I was Head of Structural Section in the Bureau. I was engaged as structural designer and building technologist for:
- general cargo / container ship, 5650tdw/367TEU, DNV, 1 vessel built,
- harbor tug 60 t bollard pull, LRS, 6 vessels built,
- harbor oil bunkering barge, 150tdw, LRS IWW, 2 vessels built,
- inland waterways general cargo / container ship 2200tdw, LRS IWW, 3 vessels built,
- modification of harbor tug 35 t bollard pull, Russian Register, 2 vessels fitted for ocean service (I was project coordinator in this design, too).
I was also engaged as project coordinator in:
- construction of chassis for seismographic vibrator (bob 1400 kg, frequency 110 Hz), on the base of existing sample,
- construction of double-shelled self-bearing 50 m high funnel of city heating plant.

December 1997: Graduated on the Department for Shipbuilding (Naval Architecture), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia (5-years degree). Average mark 9.28 (minimum 6.00, maximum 10.00).
