| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
I am currently working as a Naphtha Trader for a leading multinational oil company. I have nine years work experience in the Oil Industry. I have worked in the Upstream sector as a Reservoir and Formation Evaluation Field Engineer and more recently Downstream, specifically in the Supply and Trading of Petroleum Products.
I graduated with an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 1999, and in 2000 completed a M.Sc. course in the Integrated Design of Chemical Plants.
Having pursued a technical discipline in my studies, my early career developed down a technical path. As part of my overall development, I always wanted to gain experience in a Commercial role, and I have now achieved this objective by having become an Oil Trader.
I am now seeking to further expand my experience in a challenging project management position in a dynamic company. I wish to join an organisation that welcomes initiative, dedication and demands excellence, in consistently meeting business objectives and exceeding standards. On a technical level, I have developed excellent logical analysis and problem-solving skills coupled with high numerical abilities. Furthermore my experiences have helped me build a range of personal skills including commercialism, communication and teamwork.
It would be my aim to take on any responsibilities entrusted to me in order to further broaden my skills within your organisation.
Please find attached for your perusal, a copy of my CV giving more detail about my skills and experience. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
