1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I consider myself to be a very hard working, reliable, motivated and professional officer. I learn quickly in both physical and mental tasks.

My seatime has been spent with a mix of British and international crews, on both coastal and deep sea trading patterns.
I have recently been made redundant and am therefore available to join a vessel at any time.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Over 24 months sea time as a qualified officer, predominantly on foreign going container ships on worldwide trades. Various sizes and designs of container vessel both geared and un-geared and holding the positions of 4/O, 3/O and 2/O.
Limited experience in the offshore sector in the North sea as 2/O on emergency response and rescue vessels.

Maersk lines (container):- Second officer - October 2008 – December 2009
• Navigation of the vessel under masters guidance
• Assist in the stability and seaworthiness of the vessel under the chief officers direction
• Monitor cargo loading and unloading under the chief officers direction
• Assist with training in safety equipment, fire fighting, environmental protection and safe operation
• Anchoring and mooring as required
• Correction and upkeep of nautical charts and publications
• Upkeep of the ships medical locker and medical equipment
• Upkeep of the vessels BA sets and equipment
• Ordering of stores for maintenance and replacement of items under my area of responsibility
• Understudy the chief officer

Maersk lines (container):- Third officer – June 2006 – October 2008
• Navigation of the vessel under masters guidance
• Assist in the stability and seaworthiness of the vessel under the chief officers direction
