CAREER SYNOPSIS

2007 - 2010 Working in Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Saudi Industries as PROJECT ENGINEER and QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER.

1994 - 2007 Joined Saudi Industries for Desalination Membranes & Systems Ltd (SIDMAS) in 1994.

1999 to 2007 in Technical Department as DEPUTY TECHNICAL MANAGER.

1994 to 1999 in Sales Department started as SENIOR SALES ENGINEER than I got promoted to ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER

1987 - 1994 Worked as TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER with Al Kawther Industries from 1987 till 1994 and get exposure of the field of water desalination through reverse osmosis & other technologies.

1984 - 1987 Worked with Al Khorayef as SALES ENGINEER and got exposure of centrifugal pumps marine engines.

1982 - 1984 Started the career in Saudi Arabia with Bin Saghyir Establishment from 1982 to 1984 as SALES ENGINEER.

1979 Started the professional career with a Government Research Organization in Pakistan as SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT and worked with them for three years.

Responsibilities and Skills:

o Reviews contract specifications, process design, clients’ requirement and prepare technical documentation for approval by client/consultant.
o Prepares project management plan quality plan, ITPs, safety & risk management plan and project schedule.
o Holds kick-off and subsequent meetings with clients and consultants. Drafts and finalizes MoMs. Conducts phase review meeting and assess project viability on continual basis.
o Plans and expedites all activities related to project execution; co-ordinates and follows up activities to ensure most effective cost control and timely completion of design, detailed engineering, procurement, manufacturing and shop testing in accordance with project management plan substantiated with quality control and testing program.
o Organizes site delivery of equipment, mobilization of manpower and erection equipment necessary for installation, commissioning, snagging off and handover.
o Organizes and controls installation and commissioning activities at job-sites; coordinating with site construction manager and other site personnel while ensuring adherence to technical, quality and safety standard are foremost.
o Anticipates and uses initiative to resolve problems by holding meeting with client and consultant; ensures strict compliance with quality policy and procedures.
o Administers receipt of payments at relevant stages of projects.

Description: - The project consists of delivery and installation of 30No of skids for multimedia filtration system, UV sterilization system, different pumping system, RO pass I, RO pass II and demineralization system (4 no skids) for refinery use.

Project Name: Upgrade Drinking Water Production Facilities for Dammam & Dhahran

Dhahran Site:
- Project was for upgrading of drinking water facilities at Saudi Aramco Dhahran.

- API standard chemical dosing system
- 6No calcium calcite filters for Remineralization of RO product water with capacity of 150GPM each
- 3No degassifier tower for removal of CO2 and other gases with each capacity of 625GPM

Project Name: Al Shamaisy Plant, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Description: Designed and Contributed to the retrofitting work of big Government desalination plant (Al Shamaisy Plant) from the old technology of Hollow Fiber Membranes (Dupont) to the modern Technology of the thin film composite, Spiral wound, polyamide membranes. This retrofitting led to better R.O. performance at a much lower pressure (Lower Energy Consumption). This was first of its type Project in Central Area for Riyadh Water Authority and later many projects of that type were started by Riyadh Water Authority.

- Earlier SIDMAS was producing RO membrane elements mainly for GOVT projects and for its sister concern GETCO at that time.
- Introduced OEM’S ( Original Equipment Manufacturer) to SIDMAS like AL-KAWTHER, METITO, EMCO, AES, GSWS, WATER PROJECTS, AL-WASHNA, AL-YANBU and many other small OEMS for membranes.
- Business of several millions of riyals is developed through this new channels
- This newly introduced market was not limited to SAUDI ARABIA only but expands to the neighboring countries. In few years our market covered all the GCC Countries and Iran.
