I seek work experience and the opportunity to consolidate strong academic qualifications within a progressive financial environment that offers personal and professional growth. The position seems an ideal prospect. My interest in the field of Project Finance first crystallized during my Masters course and I am keen to pursue it along with its challenges; and the possibility of progression within the field, to enable me to fulfill my career objectives and build upon the highly relevant skills I have already attained.

In June 2009, I completed my Master in Corporate Finance Law degree at the University of Westminster, achieving an Overall Merit (67.4). Some of my main modules were Project Finance Law (Upper Merit), Energy Finance Law (Distinction), Dissertation in Law (Distinction) and International Finance Law and Economics (Distinction).

I am currently on work placement as an Intern at King & Spalding International LLP. The role involves assisting the International Projects & Construction Group in: Document management and filing on international construction disputes, legal research on contract law and case law, writing articles and organising seminars for marketing and business development projects; including also workshops and international projects conferences. Prior to this I worked as a Legal Secretary at Absolute law Ltd and as a Junior Consultant at Carlton Community Correctional Service in Melbourne, Australia.
My work experience has provided me with the opportunity to work proactively within solutions-orientated teams, developing my organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. My education and work experience have also helped hone highly developed researching and analytical skills, increasing my ability to gather and synthesise information to solve complex legal problems swiftly, both in collaboration with others and independently.

The main goal of the thesis was to provide a framework to attract Foreign Direct Investment for the exploration and development of Coalbed Methane in Zimbabwe. The macroeconomic environment of Zimbabwe in terms of its political, legislative, regulatory and economic conditions was examined, in order to enlighten both the government and investors as to the risks that are involved and how to establish a consensus in the country to promote stability and foreign investment required in a project financing.
