Working as a Technical instructor in Aberdeen drilling schools (ADS) in Kuwait, instructing different courses as:

v. IADC rig pass (IADC certified instructor)

to different companies Like Burgan drilling company & KDC.


June 2006 – March 2009 :

Working in Egyptian drilling company (EDC) as an Assistant driller in Saudia Arabia (with Aramco as operator ) After finishing special drilling trainee program (SDT) , program Included working as Floorman for 6 month , Derrickman for 6 month & as Assistant driller Trainee for 1 year .

Job responsibilities Includes:
• Supervises and ensures safety of drilling crew as well as effective and efficient operations during tour of duty.
• Inspect threads, crossovers and sealing faces on all equipment, measuring the length of BHA & all drill pipes which will be run in the hole.
• Responsible for timely and accurate submission of various reports, such as: drilling Report (IADC report), kill sheet & maximum over pull sheet.
• Responsible for safety reports such as pre-tour safety meeting, pre-job safety meeting, work permits, isolation certificate & daily STOP audits.
• Perform maintenance work in mud pump,Top drive and different equipment in rig floor like:
Mud pumps: 1- Oilwell A1700 PT
2- National 12-P-160 1600 HP
3- EWECO 1600
Blowout preventers:
1- 13 5/8” Cameron type Blowout preventer 10,000 psi H2S trim.
2- 13 5/8” Shaffer type Blowout preventer 10,000 psi H2S trim.
3- 20 ¾” Shaffer type Blowout preventer 3,000 psi H2S trim.
4- 26 ¾” Cameron type Blowout preventer 3,000 psi H2S trim.
Iron Roughneck:

• Responsible for preparing all tools for the special jobs like cementing, casing, changing BOP rams & different pressure tests.
• Responsible for greasing crown and visually checking sheaves for wear.
• Checking mud weight and viscosity, mixes weight properly, observes pit level and reports any change, mixing chemicals, and maintaining good communication with mud engineer.
