More than twenty five years experience in Naval Architecture, which includes four years research in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, four years survey and construction, more than eight years in the conceptual and detailed design of ships, offshore structures, SWATH and installations of integrated decks and at least four year in class plan approval.

Familiar with Naval Architecture software, Finite Element Computer Programs, Classiication software and Suites of Programs like Office suite incl. Excel, Word and Power Point. Mathcad, Programming (Fortran, Basic, Visual Bacic).

From August 1999 till August 2003 I was the deputy manager of the KBR Marine Group in the UK responsible allocating Marine Personnel to projects, starting up projects, managing projects executed by the Marine Group, preparing bits, auditing project work and giving presentation to clients of the Group capability and the execution of the Marine part of the project.

Assisted Greek owners of plan approval matters for Bulk Carriers and Tankers. Approved several Water Ballast Management Plans for all types of vessels. Took part on the validation of POSEIDON Common Structural Rules version. Involved on an accident investigation of Bulk/Cement Carrier detachment of its bulkhead from topside. During 2006 given weekly seminars on Damage Stability, Safety in Navigation and Water Ballast Management.

Naval Architect working on the design of a 300,000 m3 standard production barge for operation in benign to moderate environments and water depths in excess of 1000m. I was responsible for the intact and damaged stability calculations, the cargo loading and offloading procedure and developing a topside installation procedure.

Naval Architecture projects that I was involved were the Uptime study of an offshore production platform, the station keeping of the British Telecom Cable Vessels and the Preliminary Design of a SWATH Research Vessel.
Also participated in Legal Work, investigated the deflection of the hatch covers for a number of Bulk Carrier under Green Seas loading using the Finite Element Computer Program SAP IV. Using the FE package PAFEC, investigated the effect of wave loading on the DERPISHIRE and the effect of grounding forces on a tanker. Also took part in the investigation of the sinking of the HERALD OF FREE ENTERPRISE.

Research Assistant, investigated the 2-D Hydrodynamic coefficients and their dependence on frequency, depth of submergence and cross-sectional shape using the Frank Close Fit method. Further investigated the interference on twin cross-sections, hull and strut and the effect of small angles of rotation of the cross-sections on the hydrodynamic coefficients.
Also studied the motions, downtime and structural behaviour of semi-submersibles in regular and irregular waves using my own computer programs.
