Responsibilities

• Provide year-round maintenance service for client under AMC
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls in a time-sensitive manner
• Address system breakdowns using full technical knowledge
• Satisfy the customer’s immediate needs in terms of prompt an

• Monitor the cause of any recurrence of breakdown calls by the client
• Identify cost-control tactics to check maintenance expenses.

• Conduct Toolbox Talks / Group meeting to the operatives working under them and maintain records of the same.
Clarify or forward the feedback received from the operatives during the tool box talk/ group meeting.

• Conduct HSE review meetings at site with the key personnel at site, prepare the minutes of meeting and forward it to the Engineer/FMD manager for his review.
• Take corrective action on the unresolved issues and forward the action taken report to Engineer/FMD manager for his information
• Identify weaknesses and deficiencies in job procedures, rectify these if possible and where necessary refer these to the Engineer/Manager.
• Make random spot checks of tools and equipment used by his men.
• Incase of serious accidents or incidents, take part in the investigation team and agree remedial measures.
• Organizing the inspection of scaffolds, ladders and power tools based on the enclosed checklists.
• Carrying out the work inspections indicating all the unsafe conditions noticed by him in his area of responsibility, highlighting the status of rectifying the same to the Engineer/Manager.
• Giving safety instructions to their workmen on a daily basis as a part of the job instructions, highlighting the possible hazards of the day’s work and the precautions to be taken, after referring the relevant risk assessments.
• Ensuring that the operatives working with them are issued with necessary PPE and they use the same.
• Keeping their work area neat and clean, especially at heights free from loose materials.
• Promote the continuous improvement of H&S performance.
• Verifying the third party test certificates while hiring cranes or any lifting appliances for their validity.
