| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
Dear Recruiter.
Over the past 3 years, I have been worked as project and technical manager of the complete development of the first 1 MW industrial gas turbine manufactured in Brazil, from the conceptual design to the life and performance testing validation and comissioning of the first prototype. Besides of the gas turbine program I also managed the development of a test bench for the engine testing.
As you can see on my CV, I have also acquired valuable experience on mechanical design of rotating machines (hydraulic pumps and compressors) where I managed the mechanical design team and had my career marked for creative ideas and much work to overcome challenging projects. I have also gained experience in working in an environment in which teamwork was vital to deliver products to comply with costumer requirements.
I did my Ph.D in mechanical/aeronautical engineering at Cranfield University (England), with specialization on design and performance of gas turbine. Prior to my Ph.D, I did also my Master degree at (ITA, Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil) on the design of gas turbine. Although I have a high specialization on gas turbine, I built up a wide experience in different areas of engineering which gives me the versatility to deal with a number of contexts with confidence.
I am very interested on this current position as it matches my aspiration of getting involved in complex and challenging projects.
