AHEC provides Civil/Mechanical construction & Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation project management service to clients in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant (STP/ETP) sectors. Reporting to the AGM-HSE.My role as HSE Advisor (Project site HSE in charge) for the Aromatics Oman LLC, Sohar-Petrochemical (Construction & Eraction Phase) Under Gold Star Engineering Construction co, Korea (LG Group)
• Managing HSE dept.with 04 nos. HSE Officer & 22nos. HSE Assistances. Overall responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring & controlling measures of HSE performance.
• Provide first line safety coverage for all construction execution & eraction activities being performed at site. Liaise with project management & client on implementation & enforcement of applicable HSE standards & environmental regulations.
• Monitors the prevailing working conditions & ensures safe working practices in the project area & draws the attentions of his supervisor to any infractions.
• Implementing & monitoring company HSE policy& procedures as per company HSE regulation & guidelines to achieved company's goal/target.
• Preparation of Site HSE manual, Construction execution plan (CMP), Environmental management plan (EMP), Emergency rescue plan (ERP), Safe working methods of statement, Job safety analysis (JSA) etc.
• Co-ordinate with client for HSE compliance rectification during site inspection/observation & HSE audit. Follow up on variety of work permit (PTW) systems like Hot/Cold work, Confined space entry work, Excavation, Working at height, Heavy lifting or eraction work.
• Investigation of all Accidents/Incidents, Near misses, release or Spills & Fires to find out the root causes, recommended corrective actions on unsafe acts/conditions. & up keep the records.
• Carry out Safety Induction, HSE audit, Risk Assessment, HAZOP study, Hazards identification & elimination etc. to ensure the compliance of company management system.
• Attending the client weekly/monthly HSE meetings & provide technical support related to site HSE issues.
• Participate/Assist actively in periodical/Quarterly color coding inspection of heavy equipments & vehicles, lifting tools & tackles, power/pneumatic tools, electrical diesel generators, fire extinguishers etc.
• Create safety awareness in site employee by promoting weekly gate meeting, awarding the personal on his site performance record with given him gift/ memento/incentive, client's appreciation letter/certificates, presentation & open forum discussions & implementing by safety training & education.


(2) May-1997 to March-2007; Laxness ABS Ltd (INDIA)

LABS manufactures of "ABSLOC" (ABS Plastics) from using Acrylonitrial, Butadiene & Styrene petrochemicals as a raw material. Its business is about 400-500 carrot per annum & collaborated with Bayer group of Germany. Reporting to GM-Environment & Safety. My role as Executive- Environment & Safety.
• As a facilitator was to provide the technical support & expertise to enable these organizations improve their environmental performance & business efficiency. Coordinating with 03nos. Environmental Chemists & 16 nos. Operators/Helpers/Wardens.
• Key activities undertaken include; ISO:9002 & ISO:14001 development & implementation, Hazardous solid waste management control & disposal, Waste minimization techniques, HSE management, Safety & Environmental auditing, check the ETP/STP/ Incinerator plant facilities, Monitoring & training for environmental performance & complacencies as per legislative requirements.
• Implementing & monitoring QHSE policy & procedure within the LABS industry.
• Design & implementation of ISO 14001 management system for an ABS manufacturer. Provided guidance on every fact of project including gas analysis, aspects& impacts analysis, documentation.

• Attending safety & Environment concern meetings & evaluate the aspects & impacts of proposed operational/process plant Dept. activities & recorded it.
• Advise to regular/periodical monitoring of Air (AAQM/Emission Gas), Water-Wastewater (ETP/STP & process), Noise (Plant), Soil-Solid waste analysis of different process plant dept. as per ASTM/EPA methods & keep update record.

• Assist & provide technical support for sludge digestion/dewatering process, wasteland/landfill side development, sericulture (composting) process, Bicultural (MLSS) development & for ETP operation & troubleshooting problems to keep plant running smoothly & efficiently as per SPCB norms.
• Carry out Health & safety induction & training on fire safety, HAZOP & Risk analysis, Use of PPE, Permit to Work system, Hazardous chemicals handling & storage, Waste management, Online gas monitoring, Manual handling etc.
• Assist & actively participate in periodical plant mock drill assignment & aware/train the employees for emergency situation as a team leader.
• Conducting environmental awareness & training program.


(3) December-1989 to October-1996; M/S Bhagwati Design Pvt.Ltd. (INDIA)

BDPL is a consultancy specializing in the provision of ETP/STP designing, Engineering/Construction work & environment & safety management services to industrial & government organizations. Reporting to the project manager. My role was to provide technical advice & support to the clients as an Environmental Scientist, Particularly in areas of environment pollution & prevention techniques, EIA studies, Solid waste management & waste minimization process, Regular analysis & monitoring work, Environmental auditing, Legislative & regulatory requirements.
• Assist & guide to Analyze & monitoring of Air (AAQM / Emission Gas), Water-Wastewater (ETP/STP & process), Noise (Plant), Soil-Solid waste analysis as per ASTM/EPA methods & Pilot plant study.
• Special advice to industrial facilities for waste minimization study for conserve water, reduce effluent & improve energy efficiency to optimize utilization & increase product yield.
• Special service for property developers on the interpretation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) legislation for the purpose of determining scope of proposed project & information requirements for the process planning. Rapid/Comprehensive EIA studies carried out on several projects like Cement industries, Iron & Steel plant, Parma/ Bulk drug company, Paints & resin company, Textiles & dyes units etc, to determine significant environmental effects that needs to be addressed as part of EIA.
• Worked on Waste land/Landfill site development activity for contaminated land assessment.

Anand consultant is also provided consultancy services on ETP/STP design & operation/Maintenance jobs, Environmental auditing, Environmental monitoring & analysis, NOC & Clearance from SPCB, etc. works. Direct reporting to main proprighter. My role was Environmental - Supervisor.
