successfully with my previous employer. I am a holder of Bachelor of
Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 years).

I have 5 years of experience in India and the Arabian
Gulf in Field Instrumentation and Control Systems with extensive
experience in the Refinery and Oil & Gas plants. I have hands on
experience in Construction, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning.

Familiar with ICAPS, WinPCS Project Progress monitoring systems and monitoring the project progress based on the priorities.

Populating the instrumentation data base from P&IDs, Cable schedules, DCS System Cable schedules and Intools data base to create Status index and Basic Function details and importing to ICAPS data base.

Writing Test Procedures for Fire and Gas Functional tests, Operational Test based on relevant Cause and Effect Matrix and Functional and Organic Analysis.

Review Project Procedures for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up, Operating Philosophy, Cause & Effect Charts, Functional Analysis, Operating Test Procedures, Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
Coordinator and leader for Control Systems ICSS (DCS & PLC) SAT Activities for (Yokogawa, Foxboro, Emerson) and Yokogawa Stardom SCADA and Vendor Packages. Expertise in Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up and Normalization, Tie-in / hook up, and Shut down activities.
Instrument and Control system leader for Loop Checks, Functional Test and Operation Test for Field instrumentation, Vendor packages Pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Co-ordinations with QA/QC departments for completing the inspection test reports and QC documentations, solving inter disipline design clashes with Engineering departments, Conducting meetings with Construction / Pre-commissioning departments for better work fronts and project progress. Conducting RFC, RFSU walkdowns with different disiplines and with client and Subcontractors.
Familiar with Field Fire & Gas Instrumentation systems (Autochim, General Monitors, Deltronics and Apollo) managed by Triconex PLC system.
Basic knowledge in PLC systems of Bentley Nevada 3500 VTMS, Allen Bradley, Siemens Simatic S5 and S7, GE Mark-VI and Speedtronic control panels of Gas Turbines.
PTW Coordinator, Familiar with different PTW procedures (Qatar Gas, Ras Laffan and Total) ensures Permit to work compliance and appropriate Job Safety Analysis for implementing PTW system at Commissioning and Start Up phase. Conversant with latest Safety procedures (OSHO, IIF trainings from Qatar Gas, Safety Award from QG-2 Project team, Advanced SIMOPS from Yemen LNG). Attending and contributing suggestions for a safer work place in HSE meetings.

Position: Instrument & Control System Supervisor
Commissioning and Start Up Department (CSU).

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Reporting to Instrument and Control Superintendent / Commissioning Manager.
• Populating the instrumentation data base in ICAPS from subsystem wise marked up P&IDs, Cable schedules, DCS System Cable schedules and Intools data to prepare Status index and Basic Function details by subsystem/system wise.
• Prepare, review and verification of Cable schedules, Operational Test Procedures, PFD, P&ID, and Cause and effect Matrix.
• Review and prepare the Purchase Orders for the test equipments for field instrumentation, for Fire and Gas instrument Functional test and verifying materials as per packing list and coordinating with ware house for proper storage and controlled issuing.
• Lead the ICSS (PCS, PSS, SSS and FGS) Site Acceptance Test with control system Vendors including the preparation of full documentation and dossiers required for the SAT test, Preparation of As-Built and red line mark up documents as per the site engineering modification.
• Lead the Pre-commissioning activities and to make sure the ICAPS test sheets and check list and completed and the subsystem/system is ready for commissioning (RFC).
• Prepare and lead the team with loop folders and test equipments required for the loop check and Functional test, Sequence/Logic Test and Operational Test.
• Lead and participate in Functional test, Operation Test, Cause & Effect Matrix test, Full Load test run and 72 hours performance test of units and equipments.
• Field Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning activities for different vendor packages/skids for Nitrogen Generation package/Air Compressors/Air Dryers/Gas Turbines according to the relevant Functional analysis/logic diagrams/sequence diagrams/interfaces with package vendors.
• Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning activities for Fire and Gas Systems/Fire Fighting systems/Clean Agent Release Systems (INERGEN/FM200) for Plant/Process and Non- Process buildings according to the functional analysis and relevant cause and effect matrix/safety bar implementation in DCS/PLC systems with verification of all interface actions.
• Field Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning activities for HVAC systems for Process/Non- Process buildings according to the Functional analysis/logics for the interface signals with Plant Fire and gas systems/Process shutdown systems/Electrical systems/Safety Shutdown systems.
• Anticipate, plan and raise the appropriate PTW prior to the work and to keep the track of all PTW’s and finally closing all in the proper way immediately after completing the work.
• Arranging and leading the Ready For Commissioning (RFC) and Ready For Start-Up (RFSU) walk down with all associated client/subcontractor construction departments and QA/QC Departments and to follow up the remaining works.
• Major activities; SIMOPS (Commissioning & Construction). Compliance with the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up requirements and familiar with Commissioning Dossiers, Punch list clearance, Completion package and Hand Over.
• Follow up the remaining works and the punch list associated with the various subsystems/systems as per priority and to clear the punches and to make sure the RFC, RFSU dossiers can be signed off.
• Maintaining accurate track records of drawings/documents received from DCC/Design office/Vendors and ensures work has been carried out as per latest document.
• Contribute to Site safety review meetings where necessary and always assuring the work is planned and carried out with respect to safe conditions/practicies.

Construction/Pre-Commissioning Department.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Reporting to Construction/Pre-Commissioning Manager.
• Responsible for the construction and Pre-Commissioning activities for field instrumentation, Instrument Technical Room and Main Control Room.
• Familiar with various check list and test sheets forms associated with specific tasks and the follow up and completion in the progress monitoring software WINPCS.
• Review of Various Vendor documents, P&IDs, Intools Database, Loop diagrams, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safe Charts and Installation drawings.
• Inspection of Vendor supplied materials with relevant purchase orders and packing lists.
• Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning (Loop checking and functional test) of all field instruments according to the relevant hook up/wiring diagrams.
• Operational test for Field instrumentation/Vendor packages/Vendor skids such as Macchi Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, Nitrogen Units, Air Dryers, Condensate Polishers, Boiler feed water Pumps as per the logic/sequence diagrams and interface to Emerson Delta-V DCS system.
• Maintaining accurate track records of drawings/documents received from design office/vendor and ensures work has been carried out as per latest document.
• Interact and communicate with client representative for work front, job progress, progress delay and site modifications.
• Record and review client complaints and perception.
• Controlling documents & data, inspection reports and test reports in various aspects.
• Corrective and preventive action to be carried out immediately on the basis of reports.
• Preparation of detailed engineering consisting of as-built drawings, instrument layout, hook-up, tray route and cable schedule.
• Familiar with PTW system as PTW Representative for Instrument and control Department and familiar with Qatar Gas and Ras Laffan safety procedures. Contribute to Safety meetings.
• Manage handover reports, maintenance of Logbook, Managing the test equipments; Make daily progress reports, commitment to environment protection.

Project: PE- Line D, Reliance Refinery Complex, Jamnagar, India.
Position: Construction and Pre-Comm. Jr.Engineer

• Reporting to Construction/Pre-Commissioning Site Superintendent.
• Review and understand various installation drawings for the Reactor, Purification Units, Silo and Vent Gas recovery Units.
• Supervising Installation of field instruments as per the relevant location layouts and P&ID.
• Supervising and managing the Multi pair cable installation from the Main Control room to individual Plant Interface building and to the field Junction boxes as per the latest available cable schedule.
• Raising the Request for inspections as soon as each stage of the work is been completed and clearing the QA/QC documentations.
• Supervising and planning the Control Room/Plant Interface Building Marshalling Panel field wiring terminations.
• Participate in the site acceptance test and QA/QC inspections and strictly ensuring the work is being carried out with all respect to the approved site quality plans.
• Planning the secondary cable installation from junction boxes to individual field instruments
