Position held: Instrument Engineer
1. Carry out loop checks , commissioning of loops of main plant and utilities like boilers, compressors.
2. Carry out day to day jobs in accordance with safety rules.
3. Responsible for fault finding during start up problems.
4. To maintain history record of each instrument and special records for critical ones.
5. From time to time checks for the spares available and if found shortage generates immediately request a purchase. Also checks if often requires are available in the department in order to save time during emergency.
6. During the shift start go through the log and then visit control room for any inst problems and then as per the corrective jobs distribute them among the foremen.
7. Executed the overall troubleshooting for the DCS and Electronics used in the plant as instructed by the manager.
8. Responsible for planning and coordinating the technical design and engineering implementation of the project work.
MAJOR FIELD INSTRUMENT HANDLED:
Control Valves : Fisher (UK), ILL, Masonelian, Auma & Rappold (Motor operated Valves), Hytork and ABB.
Flow Meters : Mass flow (Rosemount and Forbes Marshall), Vortex (Yokogawa), Magnetic meter (Yokogawa and Forbes Marshall)
Transmitters : Rosemount (Smart), ABB-KENT taylor, Fuji, Foxboro intelligent Transmitter, Honeywell.
Level Instrument: Radar, level troll, Enraff, ultrasonic, DP.

1. Prepare electrical and instrument drawings and specifications.
2. Manage project schedules and budgets, and obtain permits for operations.
3. Make engineering calculations in connection with field and office assignments.

5. Make Material Take Off of electrical and instrument and material coordinate job.
6. Make sketch for instrument secondary cable tray route, instrument air manifold .
7. Supervise instrument primary and secondary cable tray installation and cable pulling.
8. Arrange cable laying in RIE (route instrument enclosure) room.
9. Do leaking test of instrument tubing.
10. Make RFI and finish Punch list from client side.
11. Make monthly invoice, monthly report, weekly report, daily report .
12. Prepare the report to PM for meeting with client and head office. Such as project progress, system wise progress and contract revision.

Position held: Document controller and Quality Surveyor
1. Quality Survey of the inst tubing , conduit and multi electrical material installed on site.
2. Prepare Quality Control Procedure.
3. Prepare system turn over package of mechanical piping.
4. Coordinate with Mushlif QC engineer and prepare any document as required.
5. Prepare As-built drawing of electrical drawings and list instrument additional cables.
