I have done BE in mechanical engineering and post graduate in marine engineering. I am having 6 years of experience as marine engineer in merchant navy .I have worked for Mitsui OSK lines, Anglo Eastern ship management, Seven Islands shipping pvt limited etc.

I have on hand experience on very big diesel engines (82000 bhp),purifiers, diesel engine- generators, air compressors, boilers , steam turbines etc.I strictly follow the concept of planned maintenance system. It would be my pleasure to work for the market leaders to develop my skills .Hence increasing the productivity of the company.

Key Responsibilities Handled;
- Monitored the functioning of the main engine (Du sulzer RTA 96C,82000PS @ 100 rpm, Kobe Mitsubishi 8 UEC 60 LS,19200 PS @ 100 rpm, Mitsui MAN-B&W 8K90MC (MK5), 46,960 PS @ 94 rpm and MAN B&W 7L80MC,34000 PS @94 rpm) to ensure smooth running of the carrier.
- Equipment handled includes 2 stroke single acting reversible, crosshead type exhaust gas T/C marine diesel engine, Auxiliary engine (Generator: Daihatsu 8DK- 26, 2200 KW,Daihatsu 6DK- 26, 1500 KW,MAN B&W 1600KW @ 720 rpm & , 450V, 60 Hz. ), Boiler (Hada vertical smoke tube boiler working pr. 9 kg/cm2, saturated, Aalborg water tube boiler working pressure7.5 bars & Osaka water tube boiler working pressure 10 kg/cm2 ), Air Conditioning system (Air Circulation System) etc.
-More than 3 years of experience in carrying out complete overhaul of generators & its preventive maintenance.
- Carried out major maintenance on vertical 2 stage air compressors, Tanabe & Suction gas co. ltd., Japan
-Carried out complete maintenance on boilers (water tube, smoke tube & combined type), including boiler water tests.
- Supervising and carrying out scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance, alterations, repairs and watch-keeping duties.
- Overhauling of major pumps including Axial, Centrifugal pumps, multistage pumps besides others and diesel engine units & all other machinery.
- Surveys of machinery to keep the vessel fit for classification society & insurance purposes.
- Carried out major maintenance on purifiers, clarifiers. (Mitsubishi SJ2000, SJ4000, SJ8000, ALPHA LAVEL, self ejector type).

- A Mechanical Engineering Graduate with around 4 years of cross-functional experience in Operations &
Maintenance onboard merchant vessels with a Merchant Navy company and in software development and programming in an IT firm.
- Having class 4-engineer certificate of competency in handling marine machineries, issued by MMD (mercantile marine department), India.
- Have handled various kinds of equipments including 4 stroke diesel engines, Pumps, Boiler, Valves, Air compressors, Generators, Air conditioning, Refrigeration utilities, besides others.
- Exposure in preventive & predictive overhaul and breakdown maintenance & repair with knowledge of maintaining optimum levels of consumable stores, material, equipment and spares.
- Undergone Post Graduate level course in Marine Engineering from Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
