Position Held: Piping QC Supervisor (BECTHEL AREA).
Period From: Nov ‘2008’ to ’Dec 2009.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing of activities related to Piping Fabrication, Erection, Supporting and hydrostatic testing, reinstatement, pre-commissioning piping systems.
• Assist the site QC manager in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system
• Co-Ordination with sub contractors, group engineers and other discipline engineers for achieving objectives.
• Coordinating with construction site, Q.C department and Planning providing required information and technical supports.
• Ensure that commitments are met, schedules are maintained and engineering works are performed as per design basis.
• Daily co-ordination with group engineers consisting of Discipline engineers, Mechanical & Civil inspectors, Mechanical supervisors and other office staff.
• Raising technical queries to consultants/Vendors and obtain necessary technical documents/Information for the easy functioning of organization activities.
• Ensure that activities assigned are implemented within agreed time scales.
• Schedule work priorities and activities in line with project plans and construction schedule.
• Progress monitoring and updating of weekly and monthly progress reports.

Position Held: Lead Mechanical QA/QC Inspector.
Period From: Mar ’2008’ to ’Sep 2008’.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling in Progress inspection of subcontractor Piping & Fabrication Shop Including Material
traceability.
• Handling Welding Inspection Fit-Up, Visual Inspection and Dimension spool.
• Check NDT requirement and material take number report of the assigned project.
• Ensure All NDT carried out as per specification and costumer requirement.
• Prepare nonconformance reports to the QA manager and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Implement the project records retention requirements.
• Prepares necessary documents and Quality Control Inspection reports including punch list.
• Witness of Material identification and Verification.
• Coordinate with construction testing group and QC department in the preparation test
requirement of the test pack facilitates close out of any out standing punch items.
• Over seeing and correction the group works, ensuring the section function in a satisfactory way.
• Reporting directly to Managing Director/Project Manager.


PROJECT III

Name of the Project: SAUDI CHEVRON PHILLIPS.
Name of the Client: Jubail Chevron Phillips (WORELY PARSON).
Name of the Company: JGC Arabia Ltd (EPC). AL Khobar, KSA.
Position Held: Welding and Piping Inspector.
Period From: July ’2007’ to Feb ‘2008’.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carry out quality control activities including inspection, examination and testing to verify
the quality of the installations and ensure construction operations are in compliance with
Project specifications.
• Reviewing (AG, UG and support) for piping designs, making proper modifications on
Site as per client specifications
• Study & review the pipeline alignment sheets for pipes distribution to be matched with the
Area classification as per ASME code and/or company specs.
Develop punch lists of incomplete work
• Prepare and submit inspection reports of fit up’s, dimensional, visual material summary for proper document and approval.
• Witnessing and monitoring the pipeline preparation for strength & stabilization test also
the final cleaning, sizing & drying for the pipeline.
• Inspection of refinery equipment (heat exchanger, vessels, furnaces, tanks and piping) and
Issue recommendations for the repair of corroded or damaged components.
• Carry out mini audits on the contractor performance and compliance with technical and
HSE requirements of the contract.


PROJECT IV
Name of the Clients: JGC Arabia Ltd AND MITSHUBISHI Heavy Industries.
Name of the Company: AL HAJRI Industrial Complex. Jubail, Dammam, KSA.
Position Held: Quality Control Engineer.
Period From: Dec’2006’to Jun ’2007’.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visual Stage, final inspection of welding, pneumatic test, hydro tests and as per spools drawing releasing. Test pack preparation, punch list documentation as per system and client’s requirements.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports of fitups, dimensional, visual material summary for proper document and approval.
• Coordinate with construction testing group and QC department in the preparation test requirement of the test pack facilitates close out of any out standing punch items.
• Perform receipt inspection and monitoring of interim construction site storage areas for
Permanent plant materials

PROJECT V

Name of the Project: DUBAL Power plant central Project. Jebali. UAE.
Name of the Client: Alstom Norway (EPC), Dubai. UAE.

Position Held: Project Engineer.
Period From: May’2006’ to ’Sep 2006’.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparing estimation for the project and coordinate overall project execution plan to meet the target schedule.
• Referring the piping and instrument drawings and identify the pipelines and system which including exchanger, contractors and accumulator etc.
• Identify equipment location as per general arrangement drawing and prepare layout and measurement, check installed piping components as per P & ID.
• Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawing and dimension check of completed spools.
• Leading the foreman groups of pipe fabricator, fitters and welders in fixing of pipes, supports, structural steel work, values and temporary supports.

• Carry out quality control activities including inspection, examination and testing to verify

Period From: Aug 2002 (8 Days).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assigned to set-up, align & maintain a proper quality control system during the turnaround/shutdown period. Responsible for the implementation of project quality plan and site quality assurance & quality control. Scopes of work beside the routine inspection includes preparation of job execution procedures, qualification of welding procedures, qualification of welders & liaising with the Client representatives on all quality and inspection related issues. Visual Stage, final inspection of welding, pneumatic test, hydro tests and as per spools drawing releasing. Evaluation of cutting plans for plates structures with minimum wastage and as per QC standard Conducting N.D.T tests, hydro static test and pneumatic test as per system and client’s requirements.


PROJECT VIII
Name of the Project: Brouge Petro Chemical Ruwais, UAE.
Name of the Client: Bechtel. UAE.
Name of the Company: Al Jaber Energy Service. Abu Dhabi. UAE.
Position Held: Piping Engineer.
Period From Feb 2001 to Mar 2003.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of pipe line drawing and well experience in reading pipeline drawing and erection of prefabricated spools
• Calculating material take off from ISO drawing and documentation.
• Identify equipment location as per general arrangement drawing and prepare layout and measurement, Check installed piping components as P&D
• Reviewing piping isometric support drawing and details.
• Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawing and dimension check of completed spools. Maintain house keeping and proper arrangement of spools in lay down yard.
• Supervise activities inclusive of fabrication, Installation of piping and structural installation, hydro testing and commissioning works.
• Supervision of the chemical cleaning jobs of different system propane, Amine, Tag etc.
