An experienced site supervisor with over 30 years experience in supervision within the scaffolding industry. Having worked on many large projects including Vodafone Worldwide HQ in Newbury, Lindsey Oil Refinery in Immingham, AMEC Churchover Gas Compressor Station in Rugby, and most recently Langage Energy Centre. Nov 08 – Present Fabricom Contracting Ltd – Langage Energy Centre
• Scaffold Co-ordinator
Planning and coordinating on a daily and weekly basis the workloads for 3 different scaffolding contractors on site. Attending daily meetings in order to forward plan work requirements, delegate duties, and resolve any issues that have arisen on site during the day. Maintaining an onsite presence to check tasks undertaken by the scaffolding workforce have been completed to high safety standards.
Aug 07 – Nov 08 Deborah Services Ltd – Churchover Gas Compressor Station
• Supervisor
Supervising the erection and dismantling of all scaffolding to approved drawing specification. Supervision of 9 operatives including providing Health & Safety toolbox talks and ensuring correct work permits are in place before work is undertaken.
April 03 – Aug 07 SGS Scaffolding Ltd – Various sites
• Area Manager
Supervising between 30 – 40 operatives at various sites around the UK. Supervising all erection and dismantling of scaffold following strict health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
