2009 Mexico PEMEX 3 D data acquisition management in the desert area of North Mexico. Implemented contractual obligations. Managed Health and Safety and technical issues. Modified parameters to suit conditions. Initiated and managed data acquisition. QCd field processors and maintained quality control.

2008 Syria IPRMEL 3 D data acquisition management in the desert area of North Syria. Designed and supervised start up tests. Established start up parameters. Initiated and managed
data acquisition. Solved operational problems. QCd field processors and maintained quality control. Maintained a high standard of HSE operations through oversight of the
crew’s HSE efforts. Wrote final operations and HSE report.

2008 Sudan PDOC 3 D data acquisition management in the marsh area along the White Nile River of Southern Sudan. Supervised Chinese/Sudanese field crew. Insured that the data was obtained within specifications. Mentored senior staff in acquisition and field processing. Wrote final report for my 3D crew and assisted in report preparation for a 2D crew working for PDOC on an adjacent area.

2007 Algeria British Gas 2D data acquisition management in the desert areas of El Golea, Algeria. Reported daily progress to client. Advised Global crew on acquisition parameters, logistics and field processing. Assisted with community relations.

2007 US Welder
Exploration and Production Survey evaluation and design of 3D Vibroseis project for Global Crew in South Texas. Fill in shot hole design in low lying areas. Quality Control management of seismic crew while representing the oil company.
2006 Uzbekistan Petronas Survey evaluation and Design of 2D and 3D dynamite and thumper mountain crew in Gadjak, Kagnisay, Baysun and Igarchi prospects utilising high channel Sercel 408 recording systems.

2006 Oman SIPC (China) 2D data acquisition in a desert environment utilizing parallelogram source array vibrator configuration. Additional HSE and project management advisor duties because of inexperienced crew.

2005-2006 Egypt Shell Egypt Quality Control Supervisor and Client Representative on a CGG desert vibroseis crew utilizing HPVA acquisition technology that allowed for simultaneous data acquisition from three vibrator groups. Performed quality control on night data processing.

2000 to 2005 Self-Employed
Well Site Geologist - South and West Texas
Monitor and log all aspects of exploration drilling for independent oil companies in Texas. Responsible for identifying key formations that will produce petroleum. Advised clients and drillers on current drilling status including but not limited to rate of penetration, problems that impeded or enhanced drilling progress, and how encountered geology affected drilling. Prepared daily log and progress report for company geologist.

Owned Well Drilling Company - Florida
Licensed well driller and business owner in Florida. Operated a well drilling company employing 13 people and fielded four mud rotary drilling rigs. Drilled water wells utilizing mud rotary drilling rigs, identified and logged lithologies, set casing and drilled to specific aquifers to obtain water.

1996 to 1999 Independent Contractor
Summary of recent project work and specialist consultancy of 3D seismic acquisitions are listed below:

1 . Transition Zone - Louisiana, USA. Prepared geometry (from IO System II electronic logs) and survey (from SEG P1 navigation data) files for input to MAX 3D processing system. Processed SEG D trace (field) data ' Verified and corrected shot and receiver locations. Wrote corrected geometry and edited field files to SEG-Y output providing field files with corrected headers for the processing center. Client Geco-Prakla.

2. Land-East - Texas, USA. Prepared geometry and survey files for input to MAX 3D processing system. Processed SEG D field data. Corrected shotpoint positioning to actual survey points. Calculated source locations for Survey Department to survey shotpoints not included in the original survey file. Verified geometry. Wrote corrected geometry and edited field files to SEG-Y output providing header corrected data for the processing center. Clients; Sonat Exploration and Shell Oil Companies.

3. Marsh - South Louisiana, USA. Processed RSR field data after collection and field transcription. Prepared geometry and survey files for input to MAX 3D processing system. Processed SEG D trace
data. Corrected source and receiver location errors after geometry verification. Wrote header corrected field files to SEG-Y formatted output tapes. Processed geometry corrected field files through brute stack applying gain, noise filtering, deconvolution, velocity analysis and normal move out (NMO). Plotted selected in line and cross line stacked sections for quality control purposes. Client Geco-Prakla.

4. Land - Louisiana, USA. Provided client supervision services on an Opseis radio telemetry crew operating on high ground and marsh. Verified data quality and contract compliance. Off set source and receiver stations. Negotiated with land owners for access to properties. Reported crew progress to client - HS Resources.

5. Land - Western Oklahoma, USA. Provided client supervision services on a vibrator crew. Verified data quality and contract compliance. Modeled source and receiver positions changes utilizing the MESA program both before and after points were moved to minimize degradation of fold and loss of near offset data. Provided pre and post plot survey design overlaid on topography maps and aerial photos for use by the crew. Client Jepco.

6. Land - Venezuela, South America. Prepared geometry and survey files for input to MAX 3D processing system. Processed, SEGD field data to identify geometry problems for the Seismology Department to correct and resubmit for verification. Updated processing system with corrected information and reprocessed field data. Created correct SPS files as deliverable to the Client and the processing center. Clients: Solid State Geophysical Company and Lagoven Venezuelan Oil Company.

7. Land - Algeria, North Africa. Supervised in-field data processing utilizing Promax seismic processing system. Performed tests to establish processing and field data acquisition parameters. Provided daily quality control for the seismic processing department, statics department and the vibroseis field crew. Client: Ana
