To whom it may concern,

I am currently employed as Company Representative on an FPSO, in the Timor Sea, on a 3/3 roster.
I have been involved with oil and gas operations and projects for approximately 25 years.
In this time I have worked in various roles including Field Superintendent, Operations Liaison, Offshore Installation Manager, Senior Training Advisor and Operations Supervisor and in a variety of locations including Australia, Qatar, UAE, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
I have been involved with land based operations, converted Jack ups and FPSO's.
I have been involved, as Operations Liaison, with an FPSO conversion project in Singapore and, as Operations Supervisor, the construction of an offshore platform in Singapore.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Offshore Installation Manager
November ‘09 to Present
I am currently employed as OIM/PIC on the “Ocean Legend”, a MOPU on Australia’s North west shelf. In this role I have responsibility for all related operations including maintenance and contract personnel and liaising with onshore management and external parties.
The facility is based on a converted Bethlehem Mat Jack Up with a number of wellheads tied back to the cellar deck, a CALM buoy and FSO. The facility includes turbine driven centrifugal compression and power generation, gas lift, gas reinjection and conventional three phase separation.

Offshore Company Representative
Sept ’07 to Sept ’09 AED Oil/SIPCAU Timor Sea
I was employed as Company Representative on the FPSO “Front Puffin” in the Timor Sea. The FPSO was owned by a contracted company and operated on behalf of AED/SIPC.
My role was to oversee the operation to ensure that SIPC’s interests were protected.
In addition, I was involved with number of proposed development projects for AED/SIPC. I provided operations input and prectical advice on conversions for these proposals.

Offshore Installation Manager
June ’07 to September ‘07 Coogee Resources Timor Sea
 At the conclusion of the initial phase of the project (below) I was transferred back to the Timor Sea and resumed the role of OIM on an FPSO. Responsible for meeting production quota’s and managing all operations
 This facility is based on a purpose built barge and is not disconnectable .
Operations Liaison
May ‘06 to June ‘07 Coogee Resources Singapore
 I was transferred from the Timor Sea operations department to the Montara Development Project as Operations Liaison. In this position, based In Singapore, I was responsible for developing the Operation and Maintenance philosophy, operations budget, manning philosophy and safe operating procedures. I am involved in the concept and detailed design of the facility and the commercial negotiations.

Offshore Installation Manager
January ’04 to May ‘06 Coogee Resources Timor Sea
 I was first employed as Production Supervisor on an FPSO in the Timor Sea, managing all production operations on an FPSO. Responsible for meeting production quota’s and managing production operations personnel. I then assumed the role of OIM on the FPSO and took responsibility for all related operations including maintenance and contract personnel and liaising with onshore management and external parties.
 The facility is based on a converted oil tanker, a riser with connect/disconnect capability and a number of sub-sea wellheads.

Field Superintendent
January to December ‘04 Santos Cooper Basin
 In this position I had overall responsibility for all operations in the eastern fields of Santos’ Cooper Basin Operations. These fields consist of approximately 112 gas wells and 49 oil wells, 7 satellite plants and a number of nodal compression stations. Within the satellite plants there are 32 gas engine driven compressors, numerous separation and dehydration trains, power generation and hotel support systems and pipeline pigging facilities. My direct reports included Maintenance and Production Supervisors, administration and catering personnel and service contractors.

Senior Training Advisor
July ’01 to December ’03 Santos Australia
 I was employed in this position with the primary goal of developing and implementing a competency based training system for Santos’ Australian operations. The system was delivered via the company’s intranet and included learning and assessment resources linked to the national training system. My role also included hiring new personnel and providing general HR support for the field operations group.

Offshore Installation Manager
January01 to July ‘01 Expro Swire Middle East
 Employed as OIM for the Saresh oil field I was involved in the conversion of the jack up drilling rig to a production unit. This work, carried out in Dubai, included the installation of power generation for the electric submersible pumps, removal of asbestos and installation of the process plant.

Production Supervisor
‘99 to January ‘01 Santos Ballera
 In this role I had responsibility for supervising all production operations in Ballera and the surrounding fields. These fields included approximately 76 gas wells and 12 oil wells and a major gas processing facility providing sales quality gas direct to customers. I was also involved in negations with the traditional owners in the region, unions and environmentalists.

Offshore Installation Manager
‘97 to ‘99 Swire Production Testers Middle East
 In this role I was responsible for management of the MOPU, Cliffs 10, on the Al Shaheen field in the Persian Gulf, offshore Qatar. The field consisted of 6 oil wells producing via a wellhead platform with high levels of H2S. The process facility included separation, water injection and pumping to a remote storage vessel.

Operations Supervisor
‘96 to ’97 Ampolex North West Shelf
 In this position I was involved in the design, construction, commissioning and start up of the Wandoo B facility on the North West shelf , offshore Western Australia. The construction of the topsides was carried out in Singapore while the concrete gravity structure was built in Bunbury, WA.. I was also responsible for preparing operating procedures and hiring and training operations personnel.

Production Supervisor
’94 to 96 Ampolex North West Shelf
 Initially employed as Senior Production Operator on the Hakuryu 7, a drilling rig converted for early production on the Wandoo field, I was promoted to Production Supervisor. In this role I assumed all the usual supervisory responsibilities including meeting production, safety, environmental and up time targets, rosters and flight schedules, and day to day operations. During this time I was temporarily seconded to a production facility on the Nang Nuan project in the Gulf of Thailand as Senior Production Operator.

Production Operator
’91 to 94 WMC Petroleum North West Shelf
 As a production operator on the Vicksburg, a converted jack up rig, and Airlie Island, I was involved in all aspects of production operations on the South Pepper, North Herald and Chervil fields. The facilities included the process equipment based on the rig, a number of sub-sea wellheads, two monopods and an island based processing and storage facility.

 Based in Southern England, I worked on various projects and facilities for clients in various countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, UK and North Africa.

Wireline and Well Test Operator
’87 to ’89 Expertest Cooper Basin
 In this role I was responsible for the maintenance and operation of the surface equipment for Drill Stem Testing for Santos’ drilling operations in the Cooper Basin. I also carried out various slickline operations.

Well Test Operator
’86 to ’87 BGH Well Test Canada
 Based in Calgary, Alberta, I carried out various well test operations through out Western Canada and the North West Territories. I was also responsible for the maintenance and mobilization of well test equipment and personnel.

Wireline and Well Test Operator
’84 to ‘86 Expertest Cooper Basin
 Employed as a Trainee I was trained in both slickline and well testing operations and promoted to Operator. I was involved in basic slickline operations including pressure, temperature and gradient survey’s, swabbing and fishing. I performed various surface testing operations using separators, heaters, choke manifolds, storage tanks and power generators. I worked on free flowing oil wells and wells with various types of EOR. (Beam pumps, ESP’s, jet pumps, plunger lift, gas lift) I also worked on high pressure gas wells.
