I am a Chemical Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I have a record of outstanding success for the past 16+ years with reputed concerns in the field of Oil & Gas

My last assignment was with TOTAL E&P Indonesia, as Commissioning Process / Piping Superintendent. My earlier tenures were with Offshore Khuff Gas Development Project (OKGDP) and ADMA OPCO.

My sixteen years of progressively responsible experience has encompassed management of all aspects of the chemical engineering such as pre-commissioning and commissioning of platforms, process optimisation studies, HAZOP study, participating in design review, process modification, experience in process simulators.

Commissioning Process/Piping Superintendent:

• Preparation & implementation of commissioning in respect with Opercom and all applicable specifications: Task identification, procedures, Requirements for Tools, vendors, equipments, manpower etc
• Ensure that the facilities developed by project division are compliant with company specifications and project SOR. Based on technical review, raise Engg. Queries, highlight technical problem and Provide Technical and cost effective solutions.
• Preparation of Operational Test Procedures (OTP) for SU approval and identify resources requirements for its performance.
• Preparation of Nitrogen-Helium Leak Test Procedure with test pack marked up P&ID and to co-ordinate with the Leak test contractor for the smooth and safe execution of high pressure leak test.
• Populate ICAPS database, Approve test reports and update the ICAPS database accordingly to ensure proper follow up of planning and progress.
• Preparation of all type of operational and organisation documents related to interfaces with other parties (contractor, field operation, drilling …), and ensure proper socialization to his team members.
• Ensure that Safety Concepts and Operational Philosophy has been properly implemented in operational test procedures and other checks performed by commissioning.
• Ensure implementation of Total EP Indonesia’s Standing Instructions related to process isolation, chemicals (safety datasheets, PPE, storage, handling), scaffolding, crane and lifting and waste management.
• Co-ordinate with Field Operations / Start-Up Team for the smooth hand over without any spurious shut down or safety related issues during start-up.


TOTAL, Commissioning Process Engineer
• Responsible for process related pre-commissioning , commissioning, initial start-up/testing of project facilities including handover of all commissioned systems to operations as per agreed acceptance criteria
• Preparing Commissioning, Start-Up & Operation procedures for the offshore Platform
• Conducting HAZOP & Risk assessment for modification work, commissioning & Start-Up
• Input to logical sequences, priorities, critical paths for offshore commissioning activities.
• Preparing Operational Test Procedure (OTP) for various sub- systems & Co-coordinating with the client Answering Process related site queries.


ADMA-OPCO , Commissioning and Oil Gas Operation Team

• Experience in preparation of design documents e.g. Basis for design, Equipment data sheets, Process selection reports, Design philosophies.
• Experience in developing commissioning philosophies, strategies and executions that are consistent with overall project vision.
• Actively involved in risk assessment & HAZOP of designs.
• Reviewing of Process simulations, Heat & Material Balance, project specification, Process, Procedures & Vendor packages to verify its compliance with ADMA & International Standards
• Ensuring production levels are maximized and producing assets are appropriately maintained.
• Fully conversant with the integrated ESD (emergency shutdown) systems, Gas treatment process, 3 phase separator, Oil and gas flow lines Pigging operation, Fire & Gas system, offshore safety regulations & standards.
• Preparing the procedures for various types of s/d and start up activities.
• Optimization of Onshore & Offshore plants performance
• Ensuring that the HSES is managed to international standards


TPL, Production Superintendent

• Responsible for production, quality of the product, trouble shooting, optimization, co-coordinating the maintenance activities. Chief Emergency Coordinator during On-site and Off-site emergency like fire, hazardous / toxic chemical release.
• Panel operation of Bailey Infi-90, Yokogawa Centum-XL& CS-3000 with APC., USA.
• Annual turn around activities like Shutdown procedure preparation, blind list preparation, safe shutdown and start up of the plant.
• Erection and Commissioning of a new plant and handing over for operation.
• Have knowledge in operation and trouble shooting of Turbines, Compressors, Various types of Distillation columns & High Pressure systems


SPIC, Process Engineer

• Heat Ex., Centrifugal & Positive displacement pumps & compressor efficiency calculation
• Conducted energy audits with respect to the efficiencies of the various process rotary equipments like pumps, compressors and their turbine drivers
• HAZOP study: Carried out the HAZOP study for the Ammonia and LPG Terminals, and their loading & unloading systems. Study on conversion of the direct contact cooler in CO2 removal section in to shell & tube / plate type heat exchanger.
• Involved in designing the process instrumentation control system for the LAB plant during DCS (Centum XL by Yokogawa) conversion from Pneumatic control system
