1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I have over 12 years of sea service experience and 7 years in the Offshore, Petroleum, Engineering, Marine Survey and Marine Operation field; and I am well versed in the areas of Offshore Rig, Maintenance & Utilities Work Boat with DP 2 , MPSV DP 2, AHTSV DP 2, with various company like EMAS Offshore, Bourbon Offshore and Belait Shipping Co. Brunei

- Attend Charterers Health, Safety and Environmental meetings and workshops when nominated by Fleet Safety Manager.

- Act as Alternate Designated Person Ashore (Alternate DPA) and Alternate Company Security Officer (Alternate CSO).

- Carry out Internal Safety Audit ISEA, ISPS & ISO 14001 as assigned by Fleet Safety Manager.

- To brief Shipboard Senior Officers ashore prior to their joining vessel.

- To train and coach sea staff on board in Safety and Environmental Management System, ISPS and Charterers’ requirements and Security matters when appointed by Fleet Safety Manager

- As one of the incident investigators, if so appointed by OM, in the board of enquiry.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

• Providing a daily contact and interface with each vessel in the operating area including all daily reports and correspondence from vessels.
• To liaise closely with P & I and H & M on all claims for company vessels and to follow up with club on the investigation and claiming.
• Managing the daily and longer term requirements of each vessel in the operating area
• To liaise with crewing department and HSE department on the day to day operation of the vessel and to de-conflict any clash of activities with the clients.
• Ensuring that the operating contract and charter agreements are maintained and abided by from the company’s perspective Providing a daily interface with the customer, the customer’s representatives and third party contractors as required
• To issue sailing instructions to vessel during mobilization, de-mobilization and whenever required
• Communicating with MD/GM to ensure that operational and other important information, including QHSE events and requirements appertaining to each vessel under his / her operational control are known
• Communicating with customer representatives to ensure that operational and other important information, including QHSE events and requirements appertaining to each vessel on charter are known and understood
• Attending meetings, briefings and other communications on behalf of the company as the company’s representative as and when required
• Making arrangements for and accompanying regulatory authorities as may be required
• Maintaining, encouraging, guiding and responsible for implementing company policy and procedure throughout all areas of his / her influence both onboard the vessels and at each shore facility, with particular emphasis on QHSE matters
• Monitoring, observing and reporting to MD/GM any trends or activities or field information as may be required with regard to competitor company vessels and activities
• To submit a monthly performance and status report of company fleet and vessel under its management
• Management visits to company vessels as per audit schedule and communicating with officers and ratings to determine any areas of improvement, concern or otherwise and acting on such areas whenever possible
• Evaluating personnel from department under his/her care and providing the necessary feedback to personnel following evaluation. Completing and submitting as required, personnel evaluation reports, including disciplinary measures, to MD/GM.
• Managing and following up on any emergency or other cases that require medical treatment and / or hospitalisation / repatriation as per Company emergency procedure

3. Education & Training - CV/Resume Part 3 [Mandatory]

 Diploma In Nautical Studies at Singapore Polytechnic 1985 until 1987 (Nautical Science)
 Certificate of Competency (COC) issued by the Marine Port Authority of Singapore as Second Officer Class 3.
 Advance Diploma in Maritime Transportation Technology at the Singapore Polytechnic 1997 until 1999.
 Chief Officer and Master Mariner Unlimited Class 2 and 1 combined pass written exam at the Marine Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
 Diploma in Business in English United Kingdom (UK).
 Certificate of Medical care onboard Ship issued by Singapore Polytechnic collaborated with the Singapore General Hospital.
 Certificate of Navigation Control issued by Singapore Polytechnic.
 Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat issued by Singapore Marine Port Authority.
 Certificate of Advance Firefighting issued by the Singapore Polytechnic collaborated with the Singapore Fire Department.
 Certificate of Electronic Navigation Systems issued by the Singapore Polytechnic.
