DESCRIPTION: The project includes the design and analysis of cooling coil in fluidized bed furnace, which serves as the roaster for the zinc ore. Cooling coil is provided which is immersed in the turbulent layer in order to keep the temperature of the bed at some pre determined level.
The aim of the project is to increase the feed rate of concentrate to the fluidized bed furnace by extracting the excess heat evolved.
The cooling coil is made as a part of the waste heat boiler, which works in a La-Mont cycle. The project has to be done without altering
