Scope Of Work

• Advice, monitor and inspection of Contractors’ performance to meet all safety standards and Code of Practices and report the safety position to my seniors.
• Assist Senior Officer in carrying out full facets of safety and health functions.
• Check over working methods and precautions with site management and contractors before work starts.
• Ensure that work, once starts is carried out as planned and that relevant safety requirement are observed on site.
• Assist to resolve and follow-up with contractors on safety and health matters by observing local legislation; otherwise, refer the relevant regulations and best safety practice in Singapore to cover the shortfalls.
• Attend all safety meetings.

Work Scope

• Monitor Sub-contractors performance in safety standards and Code of Practices.
• Oversee worker’s performance in the various tasks such as underground pipe installation, tanks, Steel structure erection, roofing works and architectural works.
• Review lifting plans, method statement and job safety analysis submitted by the contractors.
• Plan, propose and supervised temporary staging and scaffolding.
• Identify hazards and recommend safe procedures with regards to chemical, Safety & health, Environmental & Fire.
• Conduct safety related training for new employees working in live plants.
• Coordinate heavy lifting activities such as sewerage holding tank and transport of heavy machinery / equipments.
• Monitoring safe work and practice during installation and testing carried out for electrical of compound street lightings, hydrostatic test for portable water lines, water tightness test for Sewerage lines, water leakage test for sewerage holding tank (volume of 83m3) and instrumentation works.
• Supervised the Marine works at the SPT Civil Works 3 sea water outfall.
• Plant & Equipment Inspection.
