1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
I am very much fascinated by ship and offshore structure designing, construction and operation. I am more inclined towards offshore structure designing due to the involved complexity. Unlike other vessels these need a highly specific data on the environment in which they have to be installed and operated and I find it quite challenging as it links many other fields of expertise to design any ship or offshore structure.
Throughout my collegiate career, I have attempted to stay well-rounded combining academic Performance with leadership, participating in activities and work experience. I have majored in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering. I have been exposed to all facets of scientific and analytic disciplines.
Beginning with my appointment as Captain of a group at our University, I have chosen to actively participate and take on responsibility in campus activities during my three years at AMET University.
I have also visited a shipyard Hindustan Shipyard at Vizag.
Undergone a month’s shipyard training at Bharati Shipyard, Ratnagiri, Mumbai. It’s a shipbuilding company. I was in production department. I was assigned to check the inventory list against the production drawing.
Participated in a National Level Competition that was conducted by IIT Kharagpur “Samudramanthan”. I designed an ROV and constructed it along with two team mates and was successful in exhibiting it at IIT Kharagpur.
Currently I am given the responsibility to conduct a National Level technical fest in our College and am working on it.
My previous work experience at Unisys Global services, India has provided me with a strong exposure to both corporate and technical environments and has taught me the importance of team work and open communication with clients and coworkers.

2007 May to 2008 June. I worked as a Technical Support Representative for a year with UNISYS GLOBAL SERVICES. Worked as a level one Engineer. Our team was responsible for maintaining over 80 networks across US and a few in UK.
Underwent one month shipyard training at Bharathi Shipyard, Ratnagiri, India.
