Four years ago I graduated the Maritime University in Gdynia and started my sea challenge. Since then on, I have always been searching for more and more challenging and developing position. As yet I have reached the position of the Chief Officer on the MPSV vessel. Willing to perform even more demanding tasks I decided to apply for the job in offshore construction company. I deeply believe, the contribution of my deep motivation, enthusiasm and diligent character to your company can be of the greatest benefit to both parties.

Throughout my previous on-board service as the Mate/DPO and Chief Officer/DPO I have experienced volatile working environments, performing challenging individual and team tasks. The latter position gave me also the opportunity to prove myself as an able organizer and planner.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

MPSV BOURBON HERALD – well stimulation vessel(DP2) 2009- (8 months on board)
2nd Mate/DPO – Chief Officer/SDPO
• Provided full DP cover and watch keeping as master’s deputy,
• Responsible for the safe operation of the shift.
• Monitored and controlled all ship movements whilst in DP: position maintenance, sensors, thruster response and performance, available power whilst frac operations conducted,
• Provided the relevant information to the client’s Project Manager on DP equipment and DP operational issues.
• Monitored all DP equipment to ensure is fully functional and fully maintained as per the Company requirements.
• Managed the deck crew in scope of ship maintenance and day to day operation.


R/V ODYSSEY EXPLORER – survey/ROV vessel(DP 2) 2007-2008 (8 months on board)
2nd Watch Officer / DPO
• Assisted SDPO’s in conducting the DP operations (survey and ROV support),
• Maintained ship’s position in DP mode independently during work stoppages,
• Serviced all bridge equipment and kept Navigational Publications up to date,
• In charge of GMDSS communication,
• Ensure the Company Safety Procedures and instructions are obeyed,
• Monitored the PTW system and check for compliance,
• Conducted safety exercises, musters and drills,


R/V OCEAN ALERT – survey vessel 2007 (4,5 months on board)
2nd Watch Officer
• Drove the vessel independently during survey operations in dense traffic areas (Gibraltar Strait)
• Implemented, under the supervision of the Master, new “Planned Safety Equipment Maintenance System” (due to change of the ship’s manager),
• Maintained fire fighting and life saving equipment in accordance with the Maintenance System,
• Maintained accurate and organized records of all safety related equipment certification and ensure all items are inspected, surveyed, calibrated and tested,
• In charge of general navigation of the ship and GMDSS communication


M/V KADUNA – Ro-Ro vessel 2006 (1,5 month on board)
2nd Watch Officer
• Inspected and tested all bridge equipment. Kept navigational publications up to date,
• Supervised cargo handling operations,
• General navigation of the vessel.


M/V NORDBORG – Ro-Ro vessel 2006 (4 months on board)
3rd Watch Officer
• Inspected and tested all fire fighting equipment,
• Implemented, under the supervision of the Master, new Safety Management System (due to change of the ship’s owner)
• Underway watch keeping and GMDSS communication.
