| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
My goal is to work with organizations that foster a professional and ethical business approach to the welding inspection and fabrication industry and is willing to assist, and allow me, to further my inspection qualifications and experience. I am most interested in opportunities that will allow me to gain further training and certifications that will make me a more valuable and integral part of the Quality control process. I am particularly interested in achieving my API 570, 653, and 510 certifications (API 510 now achieved) and will do so at the earliest opportunity. In exchange I offer a number of years of management, QA/QC, and construction experience (to include Workover Rigs, Heater Treaters, Mud Tanks, inspection and fabrication of process piping and numerous pressure vessels and exchangers, Dehy towers, manifold skids, etc.), a wide variety of structural and mechanical attributes, and very strong communication and customer service skills. At most of the positions I have held I was eventually or initially put in charge of programs and personnel. I therefore trained personnel and initiated programs to control and monitor fabrication and processes. I have a natural “Say Yes” attitude in that I will more likely try to find a way to accomplish a goal, than to come up with an excuse for why it cannot be done. I enjoy solving problems and fancy myself a closet inventor. "Set my path and I will report when I get there."

| 2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory] |
LeeDon Inspection- Feb. 2008-May 2010
I was the Chief Inspector representing Chesapeake Energy to approximately 64 vendors. I helped build the inspection program and all inspection and fabrication criteria that all inspectors and vendors must adhere to. My duties included representing Chesapeake to its new vendors during initial pre-fabrication meetings to assure that they know exactly what is required of the equipment that they fabricate and supply, what will be inspected, and to what criteria they will be held. I then set up Hold-Points and spot inspections to include physical inspection and an Audit of their QA/QC program and records, WPS's, PQR's and WQR's, audit of their NDE programs and records, and BOM's, MTR's and MAOP Calc Sheets. I was responsible for training, assignment and performance of 8+ inspectors in addition to myself.
Briscoe Enterprises, Ltd.- Sept. 1999 to Nov. 2007, 8+ years.
I was the foreman for this welding fabrication and construction business. I have run a crew of up to 10 welders/fitters and supervised concrete, electrical and plumbing subcontractors while building various commercial structures and a wide
variety of mechanical oilfield and pumping equipment including rebuilding Workover Rigs, Heater Treaters, Mud Tanks, process skids, dehy towers, amine skids, pipelines, etc. I was responsible for material takeoffs and some purchasing. I was responsible for nearly all QA/QC inspections the entire time I was there. Most of my reports were done on a laptop or Pocket PC in both Word and Excel format. I had to develop a keen understanding of structural and mechanical engineering principles and be able to read, and modify, blueprints. I was usually the main liaison between my company, the customer and the subcontractors.
U-haul Incorporated- June 1994 to Sept. 1999, 5+ years.
I was the Area Field Manager for West Texas. My responsibilities included setting up and running up to 35 U-haul locations at independent businesses throughout my territory. My main function was to initiate and manage a Quality Assurance program to satisfy U-haul specifications. Another large part of my responsibility was to develop and inspect business management and customer service skills in these locations throughout West Texas. Responsible for creating business plans and budgets. Liaison between customers and Corporate U-haul. Also responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of premises, vehicles and trailers, investigation and resolution of accidents and customer complaints.
Accurate Builders- Jan. 1986 to June 1994
Foreman and builder of residential and commercial structures. Supervised other builders,
laborers and subcontractors. Ultimately responsible for all bidding, material takeoffs,
purchasing and quality assurance. Liaison between all parties involved.
